Myra's POV:
I woke up to someone shaking me awake. I didn't want to open my eyes. "Myra... I know you're awake." The voice was familiar but I couldn't put a name to it. It was definitely a boy... Could it be the blond one? The one I was dreaming about? I snapped open my eyes out of curiosity. It wasn't him. It was some other boy I vaguely recognized. "I gotta give you the treatment, okay? Corbyn and Walker will be here soon." His voice faded out a bit. "Why're you looking at me like that, Myra?" He asked, giving me a concerned look.
"Do I know you?" I shifted away from him, huddling against the back wall.
"Wh-what're you talking about, Myra? It's me. Will?" The boy looked confused and a bit scared.
"Stay away from me! Where's Rose?!" I snarled, looking for Rose. She wasn't in the cell across from me. He must've had something to do with it.
"She's... I uh... I'll get her, okay?" He backed away slowly, putting his hands up to show he didn't mean me any harm. I didn't buy it for a second.
"D-Don't you dare go near her!" I snapped aggressively. I need to find Rose and get her out of here. Now. Before this boy can get to her.
"Myra, she's... okay, okay... I won't hurt her, alright? I'm just gonna go get her and bring her to you." Will kept his voice surprisingly calm, trying to soothe me.
"If you hurt her I'll kill you!" I threatened, standing up now to try and attack. Will took a step back even though he was on the other side of the bars, watching me nervously.
"J-Just wait here... I mean... gods, I..." Will fumbled over his words, gesturing to the locked door of my cell.
"Get away from me." I snarled. Will instantly fled. I waited impatiently, pacing the cell. Eventually I tired myself out and slid into a sitting position on my mattress. A few minutes after, Will came back with Rose as promised. "R-Rose? Where were you? What's going on?" I asked nervously, starting to let some of my fears show now that she was here.
"M-Myra it's ok. You gotta remember... I was sick so Will made me better. And we've already... we already talked yesterday about getting out of here remember?" Rose asked, looking a bit frantic. I automatically got nervous too.
"N-No? What're you talking about?" I asked, looking at Rose and Will.
"Oh gods... n-no... W-Will it's happening..." Rose looked to him and tugged on his shirt sleeve. Will seemed depressed as he looked at me.
"What's happening? Is... Is something wrong?" I stammered, wanting to help.
"I... Will, help..." Rose looked up at the boy.
"I can't... She won't let me near her." Will sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
"I-If she did can you?" Rose ignored me and kept talking to Will.
"I might... The serum isn't complete yet, but I can give her what I have." He said. Serum? What serum? What are they talking about?
"But what if it doesn't work?..." Rose looked at me, her eyes filled with concern.
"I-I'm not sure." Will mumbled. I hate this. They're talking about me like I'm not here. It's frustrating.
"I-I can't lose her again... Myra, wh-what do you remember?" Rose finally turned her attention back to me.
"I woke up here a few days ago and you got mad at me for following you because Ben and... a-and... someone else... sent me to look after you." I struggled to remember who it was, but my mind went hazy whenever I tried to think about the past too much.
