Summary: a part 2 was requested so here's the first date
You awoke to the buzzing of your phone. 'Unknown number' was lighting up the screen but you picked it up anyways.
"Hello?" You answered still half asleep.
"Y/N? It's Daisy from the bar. I'm sorry, did I wake you?" You heard from the other end of the phone.
"It's alright. It's been a week you know, I thought I was never gonna hear from you," you joked.
"I'm sorry... again, I had some stuff I had to take care of but I have some free time tonight and was wondering if that dinner offer was still available?"
"Of course it is, just text me when and where I should meet you." You told her trying not to sound too excited.
"Okay great, so I'll uh, see you tonight then."
"See you tonight." You hung up and couldn't help yourself from smiling.

You showed up to the restaurant Daisy texted you about when you saw her standing outside waiting for you.
"Hey Y/N, I hope this place is alright, I used to come here a lot when I still lived in LA," she told you as you guys walked inside.
You took a seat and ordered your food.
You were curious what this 'business' was that Daisy had mentioned but didn't know if it was your place to ask.
"So, what brought you back to LA?"
"Just some work stuff," she said trying to be as vague as possible.
"What do you do?"
"It's complicated, what about you?" She asked trying to change the subject.
Daisy had managed to keep the conversation all about you until the food arrived. What you did for a living and where you grew up.
The little you got out of her was that she had grown up in foster homes and lived around LA when she became of age.
It was all small talk while you ate.
What kind of music you both liked, your favorite movies and so on.
After you finished your meal she asked if you wanted to take a walk around the area.
The night air was calming and talking to Daisy felt so easy.
You made it back to the restaurant and she walked you to your car.
"It's the end of night, I think this is the part where we're supposed to kiss," you joked.
"If I kiss you now what will you have to look forward to on the second date."
"Oh so there's gonna be a second date?" You grinned.
She got nervous thinking she had overstepped her boundaries, "well, I mean if you want there to be-"
You cut her off by kissing her and she relaxed and kissed you back.
You pulled away smiling, "I'd really like for there to be a second date, and there's plenty to look forward to."
