Request: Could you please do one where the reader is dating Daisy and she finds out that Coulson is her father?
It wasn't common knowledge within Shield that Coulson was your father.
Ever since you were a kid he had always insisted that you used your late mother's last name as your own.
In fact, May was the only one who knew and that was only because she was entrusted to look after you when your dad 'died'.
Of course you wanted to tell Daisy when the two of you started dating but Coulson advised against it for 'safety purposes'.
This led to a few intense arguments between you and you dad over the next few weeks.
"You know she has to find out eventually right?" you told him as you paced around the empty conference room.
"Y/N, there are a lot of dangerous people who want to hurt me, if they found out you are my daughter it'll just make you their next target."
"I know that dad but it's Daisy, my girlfriend, what's the harm in her knowing."
Suddenly the door to the conference room was opening and Daisy was peeking her head in, "Sorry to interrupt but May is looking for you Coulson."
"Thank you Daisy," Coulson responded recollecting himself.
"You know you guys argue like he's your father," Daisy chuckled trying to ease some of the tension in the air.
"Maybe that's because he is my father," you said crossing your arms and glaring at Coulson.
"Wait, seriously?" Daisy said in surprise and walked fully into the room.
"Yes, but this has to stay between us, May is the only one who knows," Coulson told her.
"Keep it on the down low, got it... why didn't you tell me before?"
"I wanted to but he didn't think it was a good idea," you explained.
"It had nothing to do with you Daisy, I was just trying to keep Y/N safe," he added.
"I get it Coulson, Y/N's safety is important to me to," Daisy told you both.
"So you aren't mad?" you asked cautiously.
"No I'm not mad," she smiled quickly kissing your cheek.
"Well now that that's settled, I think it's time you and I have a talk about you dating my daughter," Coulson said playfully to your girlfriend.
"Dad!" you yelped, "I think Daisy said something about May looking for you, I don't think you should keep her waiting any longer," you said subtly gesturing towards the door.
"Alright, alright, we'll save that talk for another time," Coulson said giving in and heading towards the door.
When it was just you and Daisy she wrapped her arms around your neck and you instinctively put your hands on her waist.
"So you really aren't mad?" you asked again.
"No Y/N, I'm not mad, he was just looking out for you, I get it."
You smiled and leaned in to kiss her, glad that she finally knew the truth about Coulson.
