Request: Could you do a Daisy x reader where the reader has to leave to help Steve in Civil War?
Daisy was fast asleep in your arms when you were awakened by the buzzing of your phone.
You looked to the alarm clock on your nightstand to see 3:17 dimly lighting up the dark room.
Who the hell would be calling at three in the morning you thought to yourself.
You grabbed the still buzzing phone from next to the clock and saw Steve's name shining bright.
"Hello?" you muttered not quite awake yet.
"Y/N, it's Steve, I'm sorry to call at this time but it's an emergency," you heard from the other end of the line.
"What's going on?" you asked lowering your voice when you felt Daisy slightly shift in her sleep.
Steve told you about everything that had been happening with Tony and the Hero Registration Act.
He requested that you come help him with the whole ordeal right away and you told him you'd borrow a quinjet and be there soon.
You looked down to the sleeping woman with her arm around your waist and hated the thought of leaving her.
Gently slipping out of her embrace you got up and quietly began shuffling around the room.
You grabbed a suitcase and packed up some of your belongings not noticing Daisy wake up.
"Y/N? What are you doing?" you heard from behind you.
You turned around to see Daisy now sitting up in bed, wiping away the sleep from her eyes.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," you told her.
"Are you going somewhere? Did Coulson put you on a mission?"
"Not Coulson, Steve," you said walking back to the bed and taking a seat next to her.
"Steve? What did he need?" she asked starting to become concerned.
"I guess the UN is trying to pass some Act that would put regulations on the Avengers, Stark agrees with them, Steve doesn't. He wants me to come play mediator, try to find some compromises," you explained.
"Wait you mean the Act that was being discussed when the UN was attacked?"
"That's the one."
"How long are you going to be gone?"
"I don't know," you sighed.
"Then I'm coming with you," she told you.
"Thank you Daisy but you're needed here with Shield," you chuckled.
"But what if something happens? You know how stubborn they can be."
"I'm sure everything will be just fine, I'll go talk some sense into them and be back in a few days," you told her.
"Just... be safe alright," she said quietly, "I can't lose you."
"Of course, you don't ever have to worry about losing me okay, I'll always come home to you," you smiled before kissing her goodbye.
