A perfect kind of weird

How can a laugh,
Something that is a result of joy,
Be the cause of it?
Well the way your's rings in my ears,
That's the beautiful answer to my question.

Sometimes your laugh is silent,
When you cover your mouth,
But I see the mischief in your eyes.
I stare at you for a second,
A smile pinned on my face,
And you look back,
Suddenly,
Your gaze is the reason for my heartbeat.

You say the most absurd things,
With a straight face,
As if you truly mean it,
Then you burst out laughing,
Mistaking my silence for belief,
But trust me,
It wasn't belief,
It was awe,
At how your words aren't always perfect,
But see thats the thing,
That's what makes you perfect.

When you look me in the eye,
Sometimes my mind loses it's sanity,
I try to listen to you,
But the organ in my chest,
Screeches to me,
As it realises that you,
You are looking at me

I give you blank stares,
And roll my eyes,
I chuckle sometimes,
And tell you off,
But you look at me,
Appalled,
Playfully offended,
Then at a later stage,
You whisper you forgive me.

You don't promise me the moon and the
Stars,
No,
You promise me something much greater,
You promise me that you'll give me something to drink,
When I'm thirsty, but not just anything,
You make it clear, without an excuse,
That you'd give me orange juice.

You don't ask me for beautiful words,
Or for the perfect sculpture,
You ask me for food,
As you state you are always hungry.

To be honest,
I adore it,
Your pout when you don't get your way,
I would much rather listen to your pointless
Stories,
Than be romanticized by untrue ones.

You're the definition of the word weird,
You dance spontaneously,
And when I do the same,
You don't hide your face in shame,
No,
You encourage me.

I smile at your impishness,
Youre weird,
But a perfect kind of weird.
