What I want to hear

I don't want to hear,
How beautiful I am.
How my eyes hold infinities in them,
How my lips are formed to the perfect
Shape and colour,
How my hair glows in the sunlight,
How my smile is the only light,
Your darkness will ever meet.

None of that,
Serves any imprtance to me,
None of it stirs,
To the depths of my soul.

I want to hear,
How my words can mend a broken
Mind.
How my hands form to carry,
Disregarded hearts.
I want to hear,
How my soul creats a whirlwind
Of emotion.
How my tears are glistening beams,
Of undying light,
When light is the least of what I feel.

I want to hear you tell me,
That my fears,
My imperfections,
My weaknesses,
My storms,
Are what makes me tick.

How my heart ache,
Shows you who I am,
Not a shabby smile on my face,
That is only a dreary facade.

I want to you hear you tell me,
That although you've seen the ugliest
Parts of my soul,
You still love me.
