I wish I could say,
That I remember the day I was born.
I wish I could understand the feelings
I felt.
Had I been fearful? Excited perhaps?
An entire new world,
How had that felt?

How had it felt to be completely free,
Of all sin,
Of all hatred,
Of all sadness?

Why is it,
That perhaps the best memory of me,
Is so easily forgotten,
But the worst,
Constantly repeats itself in my
Mind?

I wish I could go back in time,
So that I could feel everything,
As a rhythm in my small mind.
So that I could see everything,
In a new light for my small eyes.
So that I could hear everything,
As distant sounds that are so peculiar
To my small ears.

Just imagine the bliss,
Of opening your eyes,
To a brand new world.
Of strange faces and strange Belongings.

Why is the memory implanted in
Everyone's minds but mine?
My aunts said that I had been the
Cutest thing ever,
My mother said that she had been
Proud,
As her tears mingled with a smile.

Is it to torment me, that everyone,
Can remember,
Probably the greatest moments,
In my life,
But I can't?

Why can't I remember my first look
Into this world,
My first cry, that gave pathway to
The tears I shed now,
My first laugh, that still leaves my mouth to this day,
My first word, that made me speak
Billions more,
My first step that led me to the
Very life I live now?

Where was I, when it all started?
Where was I? Supposedly the cause
For every false move I make,
For every wrong step I take.

Perhaps if I remembered my first
Glance at life,
I would appreciate it more.

Perhaps if I remembered that first
Tear that I had shed,
I would never forget the pain of it,
And my tears would lessen.

Perhaps if I remembered the first
Word I spoke,
I would constantly build on Improving it,
And everything that leaves my lips,
Would be of importance.

Perhaps if I remembered my first
Laugh,
I would be reminded of the joy that
I felt in that moment,
And I would laugh more.

Perhaps if I remembered my first step
I would be reminded of the
Clumsiness in my walk,
And every step I would take,
Would be better than the last,
Showing me a greater destiny.

I wish I could remember,
But no,
I have to live a life with no start,
I have write a book with no Beginning,
I have to grow a plant, with no seed,
I have to complete a lesson, with no
Introduction.

Perhaps one day,
As there is an end to my unknown
Beginning,
In the midst of my last blink,
It will come back to me.

Perhaps the end,
Will be my start.
Perhaps at my end,
It will all come back to me.

My forgotten best memories.
