You're like a daydream,
That dances before my eyes,
And rings in my ears,
Like an overflowing stream,
That's the reason for my disappeared tears. You're the soft current of a cozy afternoon,
Spent at the beach,
You're the pull of the waves by the moon,
Yet whenever I try to lean forward to try to
Reach,
Whenever my fingers inch towards that
Oozing magic,
That falls like stars onto the ground youve
Been on.
I try to do it without being lethargic,
Yet it's only your silhoute that remains for
Me to fawn.
Your eyes are fragments of a dimented
Universe,
And I say dimented not as an insult,
I say it to show the variation of when your
Eyes are glimmering with curiosity,
Then the next second they're swelling in
Their self-created pools of negativity.
You're beautiful,
Your love is fruitful,
And you're all that my eyes ever want
To see,
All that my dreams ever want to be.
But you're like a whimsical melody,
A chance of hearing a chirping bird,
In a desert of despair and sorrow.
Your hands may not be mind to hold,
Your eyes not mine to dwell into,
Your heart not mine to hold onto,
But dear you are my whimsical melody,
And as long as an inch of you is mine,
Although it may be the whimsical inch,
It still a part of you that I have,
And a part of you that I'll love,
For as long as I can't have you.
