I think I might be lost,
Lost beneath the waves,
Overlapping every inch of me,
Filling up my lungs,
And replacing it with your water.
I'm trapped,
I'm way down,
Where all I see is darkness,
In hope that soon I'll see the light.
What's worse,
Is you haven't even pulled me down,
It was my own decision,
To dwell into your ocean,
Your ocean of never-ending currents,
Your ocean where I hear other voices,
Ushering for you to help them out too.
Soon my eyes will wilt closed,
And perhaps then I'll dream of the light,
The light of rope,
Pulling me up to the shore.
The light of your silhouette,
Making it's way to rescue me.
But this ocean,
That gleamed with waters so perfect,
Waters that would sparkle in the sun,
Waters that gleamed bright at night,
I could say I've fallen,
But truthfully,
I jumped.
And now my decision I regret,
As much as I want to resurface,
I'm lost in your ocean,
I'm just in too deep.
