I'll be waiting

I'll be waiting,
For the day your eyes gleam with the
Hope of mine.
For the day my existence, is the reason for
Your smile.

I'll be waiting,
For a time when your eyes lock into mine,
An inseparable shield formed,
With our hearts corresponding,
And our eyelids not closing.

Ill be waiting,
For the day you take my hand in yours,
Smile at me,
And loop your arm around my back.
When our lips are intertwined,
And our heartbeats resting against one
Another.

I'll be waiting for the day,
When sunlight streams through the blinds,
As I fluttler open my eyes,
And it's you,
Wrapped beneath my covers,
Eyes closed and lips sealed.

But for now,
I'll be waiting for the day,
You tell me that youre sorry,
For making me wait so long.
You'll pull me by the waist,
Underneath the falling droplets of the sky,
Your lips will meet mine,
As your tears,
Are salt against my skin.

I'll be waiting,
Is all I think,
As I watch you standing there,
I'll wait for you,
As long as the sky,
Waits for her sun.
