Her eyes are tamed,
And her words are of no importance.
Her smile is casual,
And her presence is not sensed.
The way she walks, captures no one's
Attention,
Thppe way she talks, won't silence a
Noisy room.
It could almost be said,
That she is clothed,
In a cloak of invisibility.
Her eyes are simple,
Nothing out of the ordinary,
Her hair is dull,
Nothing that shouts extraordinary.
But no one sees her when the sun
Darts, beneath the horizon.
No one sees her watching the
Moonlight sky,
And her seemingly simple eyes,
Reflecting back the millions of stars,
That effortlessly illuminate the dark
Sky.
No one hears her,
Her seemingly soft voice,
When she matches the beautiful tune,
Of the hummingbird that sits on a
Branch, outside her sealed up
Bedroom window.
No one sees her,
Her seemingly useless words,
As she pulls out a pen and a paper,
To magically create a world,
Greater than the one we were born
Into.
A world where her silence,
Is her secret weapon.
A world where her dull hair,
Sparkles when nothing else does.
A world where her voice,
Is not heard,
But listened to,
By thousands who want to listen.
A world where her plain eyes,
Can light up
An entire room filled with darkness.
A world where beauty lies not in her
Appearance,
But in the eye of her chaotic
Fierceness.
A world where her smile,
Can free up a lifetime of sorrow.
A world where her meekness,
Can carry an entire nation.
They see none of what she does,
The beauty she has within her,
The fire behind her layer of calm,
The dreams that consume her.
Instead they see her close her book,
Taking it that she has given up.
Instead they see her seal her lips,
Taking it that she has nothing
Beautiful
Wishing to escape on the tip of her Tongue.
Instead they see her in daylight,
Taking it that she will always stay so
Quiet.
The truth is,
They see her not when she is alone,
When she is with her own.
They see her not as she is,
But rather as how they think she
Should be.
Those ignorant souls are the hopeless
Cause,
Who refuse to look deep enough,
To look past her silent exterior.
Who refuse to take the time,
To listen to her voice, that has so
Much hope, in both it's highest,
And lowest string notes.
To read her words,
That could mend a broken heart,
And feed and aching soul.
People will see her as plain,
As silent,
As quiet,
As meek,
As tame,
As sheltered,
As hidden,
As dull,
As soft,
As soundless,
But truth be told,
Soon the world will see her,
As I do,
As astonishing,
As fascinating.
