Once I take off my mask of perfection, Once I unveil my face from it's smile,
Once I let you see my tears,
Once I show you my scars of pain,
Will you fear me after?
Or will take your mask off too?
Will you show me what's beneath
That cheerful smile?
Will you show me your tears?
Will you let me heal your scars,
Or will you fear me after?
Will you be frightened by my Concealed misery?
Will you be intimidated by my blunt
Honesty?
Will you think my heart is a stone
Cold barrier?
Will you fear me after?
If I show you my place of solitude,
If I let you listen to my heartbreaking
Songs,
If I tell you my callous stories,
If I show you a part of my world,
Will you fear me after?
When I show you how high my walls
Are,
Will you make the effort to climb
Them?
When I show you how delicate my Heart is,
Will you mix it with yours, so that our
Hearts are combined?
Or will you fear me after?
There is no one like me,
Although I do not know you yet,
What will you do when my eyes are
Filled with tears?
Although you could be unreal,
What will you do when I sit in silence, Without a word to say?
Will you wipe my tears?
Will you help me speak?
Or will you fear me after?
My eyes become wild with anger,
My heart becomes hard with hate,
And my words become words of
Hatred.
Will you accept me as I am,
With all my flaws?
Will you accept me as I am,
With my brokeness and all?
Or will you fear me?
Although I do not know if you exist,
Although you may never come,
Will you love me after,
Or will you fear me after?
