Clever words

I was once told,
That beautiful words,
Arent half as strikeful,
As clever ones.

Beautiful words are pretty little things,
Small gifts wrapped in shiny paper,
With glitter running along the outlines.
They're like thinking of the stars,
Of flowers and daydreams,
Of a beautiful sunny day,
And the colourings of a rainbow.
They lift up spirits,
And heighten emotions.

Clever words on the other hand,
Can be anything at all,
Ranging from crimson blood,
To roaring oceans,
And fearsome eagles.
They're the ugly things,
The wild and worn out, battered things,
Turned into powerful and worthy things.
They're people turned into warriors,
They're nothing, turned into something.
They twist everything around their little
Finger,
And the whole world lingers for a second,
Thinking of their statement.

Beautiful words can never be clever words,
But clever words can turn into beautiful
Words.
Beautiful words, stay beautiful,
They have no change,
They are a smile that remains a smile,
Clever words transform one into another,
A tear of hopelessness turns into a smile
Of redeeming love.

See, the clever words;
She was lightning,
She sparked into the sky and lit up
Darkness for only a blissful second,
With authority that couldn't be reasoned
With,
But when she did, it was a sight that
Couldn't be missed.

The beautiful words;
She was light,
She was everything perfect,
Like the sun beaming it's rays,
Down on the rest of the world,
So bright, so full of life.

Beautiful words pin a smile on my face,
But clever words sends power,
Coursing through my veins.

Clever words,
Are definitely more strikeful,
Than beautiful ones.
