"Pregnant? No..." Alopex whispered as the doctor's words sank into her brain. Leo was silent as she looked to the ground with tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, but it's very clear that Leona is in fact pregnant. I'd say as much as five months." The doctor explained. Alopex's eyes widened in horror as she struggled to breath.

"She's only fifteen years old! She's never had a proper boyfriend!" She cried before turning to her daughter. "Tell the doctor there's a mistake!" She begged the young turtle, but Leo didn't move as she silently cried. "Tell the doctor that you can't be pregnant if you've never had sex." Alopex pleaded.

Leo's answer was more ears and sobs as Alopex's heart shattered.

"Please...tell me it isn't true." She begged but Leo didn't answer. Alopex quickly pulled her into a hug as Leona cried into her shoulder. "Oh Leona, what have you done?"...

Raphael suddenly jumped out of his thoughts as a sharp shiver shot down his spine. He was sat in chemistry and his lab partner and best friend Casey Jones looked at him in confusion.

"Ya alright Raph?" He asked.

"I just got a chill, like someone just dug me grave." He gulped as he tried to shake the feeling off.

"So, ya heard from Leo?" Casey smirked.

"Nah, was supposed ta pick her up today but her old man came instead. Took off before he could get me."...

"You do realise that it's too late for an abortion." The doctor explained after the two women had calmed down. "Do you know what that means?" She asked Leo and the turtle nodded, it means that she had to have the baby.

"Why didn't you say something?! Why didn't you talk to us?!" Alopex glared at her daughter.

"I didn't know." Leo whimpered.

"How could you not know?! You must have noticed your periods stopped!"

"Leona is only fifteen and at that age her menstrual cycle can be very erratic and can be affected by stress, changes in weight and by pregnancy so it would be very easy to miss the signs. Now we should have a scan to make sure you and the baby are healthy, I can make you an appointment for tomorrow if that's OK?" The doctor asked.

"Yes, that's fine." Alopex replied without emotion in her voice.

"Good, now this has obviously been a big shock for both of you so you should go home, give yourselves a chance to talk it over." She said and the two mutants stood up to leaves. "Oh Mrs Saiyo, would you like me to let Social Services know?" She suddenly asked and Alopex's eyes widened in panic.

"We don't need Social Services."

"Well you never know, they might be able to help and they have a lot of experience with teenage pregnancy."

"We'll think about it." The fox before the two mutants left for home...

When they got back home Alopex made her daughter some dinner and the two at in the dinning room in silence. Tigerclaw was still at work and Kitsune was out.

"I'm eating." Leo muttered when she saw her mother staring at her. "So why are you staring at me?"

"Looking to see where my little girl went, barely an hour ago you were a teenager with allowance, girlfriends, boy-bands." The fox sighed.

"Well at least I'm not anorexic."

"You have no idea what you've done do you?" She asked as she leaned forward slightly. "Are you going to tell me?" She asked.

"Tell you what?"

"Who the father is." She replied as Leo's eyes widened in fear. She was scared about what her parents would do to him if she told them. "It's not a game Leona."

"He's just a guy in my class." She shrugged.

"And does he have name?"

"Why? What are you going to do to him?" She gulped nervously

Alopex laughed bitterly. "Well I'm not going to invite him to a family dinner, I can think of a few things I would like to do to him."

But Leo stared at her plate, in her own thoughts. "We only did it once." She suddenly said out loud without thinking.

"ONCE IS ENOUGH!!!" Alopex screamed in all her pent up fury. "OR DID YOU THINK YOU COULDN'T GET PREGNANT THE FIRST TIME?!" She shouted at her daughter before burying her face in her hands and sobbed.

Leo looked away guilty as Alopex looked at her with rivers running down her cheeks.

"I-I can't believe we're having this conversation! It's my worst nightmare come true!" She sobbed, but she froze when she saw tears building up in her eyes. She sighed and pulled her child into a tight hug...

Alopex was curled up on the couch watching TV when Tigerclaw came home from work. Alopex took a deep breath as she prepared for the worst.

"Where is everyone?" Tigerclaw asked his wife.

"My mother has gone away to a spa resort for a month and Leona's upstairs having a bath." She sighed. "Have you eaten?" She asked out of the blue.

"No, I just had a drink on the way home." He replied.

"Just one?"

"Does it matter?"

"Not really, but I think after I tell you what I heard today you're going to want another anyway." She smile weakly as he looked at her with confusion. "I caught her throwing up on the bathroom so I took her to the doctor." She said and paused.

"Well are you going to tell me what's wrong?" He glared.

"She's pregnant."

Tigerclaw felt like he had just been punched in the gut with a pair a iron boxing gloves. He was frozen on the spot. "Is this a joke?" He almost pleaded but Alopex laughed cruelly.

"I really wish it was. I wish we could all just laugh and go back to rows about clothes and food, but it's not. The doctor examined her and confirmed it., and you want a joke? I'll tell you a joke. She's five months pregnant, it's too late for an abortion!" She cried as Tigerclaw ran a hand through the fur on his head.

"Leona's having a baby."...
