It wasn't long before the Saiyo family was discharged from the hospital and their front door was replaced with a much better one.
"Mom, where's Yuki?" Leo asked when she came running down the stairs. The poor teen had become protective of her daughter and had slept in her nursery, but when she woke up and found that Yuki wasn't in her crib she panicked.
"She's washing her doll's clothes for me to iron." Alopex replied. Leo went into the kitchen and saw Yuki standing on a chair next to the sink and she was holding the doll under the water.
Leo sighed as she picked her daughter up and carried her into the kitchen.
"Leona, she's fine, just let her play." Alopex said as she followed the turtle.
"You are joking right?" She asked in disbelief.
"What?"

"I hope everything's alright." April whispered to Casey once Leo was out of hear shot.
"Yeah, I hope they ain't scarred fer life." He replied.
"Casey!"
"What?! Ya never know, one of them might turn out warped 'cause of this."
Just then Leo came back and the two humans shut up.
"What was all that about?" April asked her.
"Well, I've been talking with my parents and I was thinking of getting a part-time job and there was a position here." She explained with a smile.
