Moving Out

Leo yawned as she stepped out her new room at the apartment. Yuki was still asleep in the room next to her so she thought it would be best if she got ready to take her to daycare.

When she stepped out she saw Raphael lying on the couch with a comforter over him.

"Hey." He yawned as he sat up.

"I don't know how you slept on there last night." She said as she walked over to the kitchen area to make herself a cup of tea.

"It's not that bad." He shrugged as he moved over so she could sit down. "Wish we had a TV." He chuckled.

This got a soft giggle out of Leo.

"So what are you doing today?" She asked him.

"Got an interview tonight."

"But I thought you already had a job?"

"Yeah but this one's fer a truck drive, look Leo, we need more money if we want ta keep livin' here, it's fer tha best." He said before getting up to get a shower.

Leo just sighed and drank her tea...

Back at the Saiyo house Alopex was on the war path. She and Tigerclaw were ready to go to work and Leona was nowhere to be found.

"I might of known she's leave it to the last minuet, trying to wind me up." She glared as Kitsune rolled her eyes.

"So you said it was alright for her to stay at Raphael's new apartment?" The human woman asked in a bored voice.

"No!" She quickly denied. "If Tigerclaw hadn't decided he was her best friend instead of her parent I would of put my foot down."

"So he was happy letting her stay the night?"

"Yeah, you just watch now, when ever we have a few words she'll be threatening to pack her bags and run off to Raphael's, I've got to go." She sighed and grabbed her car keys.

"Should I knock on for her?"

"Mother, no!" Alopex exclaimed. "She knew the rules, she knew that she should of been back before I left for work, I'll talk to her tonight when I get home."...

That afternoon Leona and Raphael went to the Saiyo house to get the rest of her's and Yukiko's things. While Raph was upstairs packing bags Leo was washing and ironing her's and Yuki's dirty clothes since they didn't have and iron in the apartment.

"How many toys can a toddler have?" Raph asked from upstairs.

But before she could give him a reply the front door opened and Leo froze, expecting it to be her mother. Raphael stayed upstairs, out of sight, just in case. Her body sagged with relief when she saw it was Kitsune.

"Hey Gran." She smiled.

"Oh Leona, you're doing yourself no favours." She told the teen.

"What do you mean?"

"Well darling, how hard was it to come home this morning like your mother said?"

"I was with Raph."

"Why make it a competition?" She asked her. "You are allowed a boyfriend and a mother."

"Well that's not what she thinks." Leo scoffed and Kitsune sighed.

"Would it be too hard to see it from her side? Imagine Yukiko when she's your age and meeting a boy who's telling her that she's got to move in with him, you'd be worried as well."

"I will talk to her."

"You are a good girl." She smiled as she gave her granddaughter a hug. "I better get going." She said and left.

Once she was gone Raphael finally came down the stairs. 

"Ya sure about this?" He asked her again.

"Yeah, I don't care what my Mom and my Gran think, I'm moving out of here."...

When Alopex and Tigerclaw came home they we're expecting to find Leona and Yuki at the house but both the girls were nowhere to be found.

"Leona!" Tigerclaw called out but received no reply. Alopex quickly ran upstairs just as Kitsune returned.

"What's going on?" She asked her son-in-law.

"I don't know." He replied as his wife came back down stairs.

"She's taken all her stuff, Yukiko's as well." She sighed.

"Well at least we know where she is." Tigerclaw reasoned.

"No, this is your fault!" Alopex accused him. "You're more concerned with Leona liking you then what's best for them!"

"That's not fair."

"Yes it is! She's got lots of friends Tigerclaw, what she needs is people who prepare to teach her right from wrong."...

Back at the apartment the two teens were getting settled. Yuki was in her knew room playing and Raph and Leo were relaxing on the couch.

"I'm not doing it to hurt my Mom." She suddenly said out of nowhere.

"I never said ya were." Raph replied, very confused. "It's just what yer Gran said about how it's affectin' yer Mom."

"Don't start making me feel guilty and all, I thought you wanted us to live together." She glared as there was a loud knocking on the door and Raph went to answer it.

"Your not stopping me from seeing my own daughter." Alopex glared as she pushed passed Raph and stepped inside. "Right, you name one thing you brought from my house that wasn't paid for with my money."

Leo glared at her mother as she went into her bedroom and brought a bag with her.

"Take what you want if it doesn't belong to me but they won't fit you!" She exclaimed as Yuki came out of her room to see what was going on.

"I'm just saying you're not as independent as you think!" Alopex shouted.

When she saw her mommy and grandmother fighting little ran over to her father who quickly scooped her up and held her tight.

"Well you're not having these 'cause I paid fr them with my work money so they're mine!" She screamed as she took some of her and Yuki's clothes out the bag.

"Oh it is?! And who looked after Yukiko those times you were working those shifts for nothing?!"

"Well if you didn't want to you should of said no!!"

"I looked after her because I know what's best for her which is more then you do bringing her to this dump!"

"I think ya better go!" Raph glared at the mutant fox.

"Don't you worry, we're going!" She growled at him and held her arms open to him. "Come on Yukiko." She said but the toddler buried her head in her father's shoulder.

"Look, you can see who she wants to be with can't you?!?" Leo glared.

"Yukiko." Alopex glared but she didn't move.

"GO ON, JUST GET OUT!!!!" Leo screamed. "AND YOU CAN TAKE ALL THIS WITH YOU AND ALL BECAUSE I WOULD RATHER LIVE HERE AND HAVE NOTHING THEN HAVE TO PUT UP WITH YOU!! DO YOU HEAR ME!!!" She bellowed at the old make as tears streamed down her face.

"Yeah, I hear you."

"You know what, I'm not surprised that Yuki won't go with you, because you chase everyone away! You don't care what they want, you only want they to do as you say" She glared. "Dad and Gran will be next, he'll ask for a divorce and she'll move back to Japan just to get away from you!"

Alopex glared at her for a few moments before walking out.

Leo quickly slammed the door shut and broke down in heart wrenching sobs before Raphael pulled her into a one armed hug and Yuki gave her a gently kiss on the head...
