Finally it was the 24th of December and all over the city you could feel the joy and energy of the heart warming season. Leo smiled as she watched Catherine and Yukiki playing on the floor with the tots teddy's
She then noticed that Catherine was coming over to her.
"Um, Leona, I'm sorry about the other day; I think I was preaching at you." She said, full of sincerity.
"Yes, you were." Leo frowned before sighing. "Me and Raph will decide if and when we wanna get married."
"I know you will, I said more than I should of." She smiled and handed Leo a plastic bag. "I just wanted to drop these off; presents for Yukiko."
"Oh thank you." Leo smiled, relief washing over her.
"And if you want someone to watch her over Christmas and the new year, you know all you have to do is ask."
"Well actually, I do have to work this afternoon and I did has a sitter for Yuki but they've had to cancel last minute."
"Well, if you want me to have her for the day I will."
"It'll be the nicest Christmas present I could wish for." Catherine smiled as she gave her great-granddaughter a hug...

"So, how are things with you?" April smiled as she and Leona walked down the snowy streets from the store. They'd been doing some last minute Christmas shopping.
"Raph's convinced me to spend Christmas with my mother." Leo sighed.
"Really? I thought you two were still at each other's' throats?"
"Don't get the wrong idea, I'm still upset and hurt but it's Christmas, hopefully she'll keep her mouth shut." She sighed. "What about you?"
"I really doubt my mother still thinks I exist so me and Casey are all crammed into that tiny house with his Dad and sister." She sighed
Leo smiled softly and the two best friends linked arms...

Catherine smiled as Yuki twirled around her living room in her angel costume. The old turtle had just taken her great-granddaughter to play in the nativity at her church, without Leona's knowledge.
"Oh don't you look beautiful." She smiled as she placed a plate of cookies on the table for the little one. "Everybody said so; they all said you were the best angel in the nativity play, and I was so proud to be your Nana."
Yuki giggled as she took a cookie and stuffed it in her mouth.
"I bet your Granny was proud too; oh yes I bet she'd be watching over you and Mommy from Heaven and I bet she said to all the real angels 'You see that little girl? That's my granddaughter, Yukiko'." She smiled, but it faded.
Yuki just listened silently as she drank her milk.
"Because one day honey, when you go to see Granny in Heaven, you can be a real angel, 'cause your Granny loves you very much, as does your Nana; and you don't forget that because one day, when Mommy and Daddy's friends have their new baby they won't have much time left for loving you, but your Nana will always love you."...
