Party Crasher

Little Yukiko giggled as she unwrapped her birthday presents that were scattered around the small apartment floor. She was finally three years old and she was soaking up all the attention her family was giving her.

Although Leona and Raph wouldn't say it, they were feeling guilty that they couldn't buy her any better gifts. With their paychecks, they could only afford one present for her. Their little girl happily hugged the stuffed unicorn they bought her.

April and Casey got her an early learning picnic hamper and a fairy coloring book. By now almost everyone knew April was pregnant with Casey's baby.

"So, how are they doing?" Raph asked as he looked at April and Casey, who were playing with Yukiko.

"Better, they still have a lot to talk about but I think they're making the right choice." She smiled and before Raph could say anything else Yuki came running over to them with a plastic tea cup from her new picnic toy.

"Mommy!" She smiled as held the cup up to Leo.

"OK, sweetie." She giggled and took a pretend sip.

"No Mommy! Like this!" She whined and she stuck her pinky out. Raphael chuckled and went to see how Casey was doing...

Later that day, Leo, Casey and April, and Raph were still in the apartment with the presents Tigerclaw had brought over from him, Alopex, and Kitsune; Leona still refused to let Alopex near her daughter.

From them, she go a toy camera, a couple more princess costumes, and some tubs of different colored play-doh. As their guests played with their daughter Raph and Leo were in the kitchen making drinks for everyone.

"Hey, babe, what ya got there?" He asked when he saw her holding something in her hands with a frown on her face. Leo didn't say anything and handed it to her boyfriend. As Raph examined it, he now saw that it was a card.

It was a white card with an angel and the text 'Celebrate the life given by God to us and enjoy this special to the fullest!' printed on the cover. Inside he saw that it was addressed to Yuki from 'Nana'.

"Do I even have ta ask who sent this?" He sighed, now knowing why Leo had a scary scowl on her face.

"Who the hell does that woman think she is?!" She growled, but it was low enough so that it wouldn't disturb Yuki or anyone else. "I told her to leave and never see us again and what does she do?! She decides to post a card for Yuki's birthday! How'd she even find out?!"

"Leo, Leo! Just calm down, we'll think about this later, right now let's just focus on making this day perfect for Yuki." He smiled. Leo didn't say anything and walked away to give everyone their drinks.

Just then the buzzer went off. Raphael glanced at the small group before seeing who it was. He smiled as he buzzed them up. Leo was shocked to see Donnie, Mikey, and Tang Shen come into their apartment holding gifts.

"Hey, dudes and dudettes! The party king is in the house!" Mikey cheered, but his sudden outburst had poor Yuki whimpering and clinging onto Leo's leg. Mikey immediately felt guilty as Donnie and Raph gave him a slap across the back of his head.

"Mommy, who are they?" Yuki whimpered as she buried her face into Leo's knee. Shen smiled softly as she set her present down and knelt to her granddaughter's height.

"Hello flower, I'm your Daddy's Mommy, your grandmother." She said with a voice and smile that eased to turtle tot as she glanced at Mikey and Donnie. "They're your Daddy's brothers, your uncles."

Both of Raph's brothers gave her a little wave but the toddler still seemed reluctant to move away from her mother. That is until she saw the unwrapped presents in her hands...
