Regrets

Why?

Tigerclaw sighed as he paced around the living room as Alopex was still sat on the couch. He was still trying to accept that his little girl was having a baby and what he was going to do when he found the father.

"Tigerclaw, did you know about this?" Alopex suddenly asked out of the blue. "Did you know she was having sex?"

"How could I know?!" He exclaimed.

"She talks to you."

"Not about this she doesn't!" He shouted.

"I knew it was serious when the doctor asked Leona's permission to tell me." She mumbled. His expression softened and he sat next to his wife.

"Well that's standard procedure. If Leona doesn't want us to know then they don't have to tell us about it."

"I think we might of realised soon enough!" She exclaimed.

"She's five months pregnant!" Tigerclaw growled but Alopex visibly shook violently as tears built up in her eyes.

"I-I could have hit!" She shouted. "We've talked to her, we've explained things to her! How could she do this?!" The fox cried. Tigerclaw sighed and looked down.

"It could have happened to anybody I suppose." He sighed.

"Why didn't happen to anyone?! Anyone but us, why us?! Wh did my little girl have to be the one to get caught?" She sobbed. Suddenly Tigerclaw stood up and headed for the kitchen. "Where are you going?" She asked.

"I think I'm going to have that drink." He glared as he grabbed a brandy...

The next morning Leo was sat on the couch while her parents were on their phones. Tigerclaw was calling his and Alopex's workplaces to let them know they weren't coming in today and Alopex was chatting to her mother.

"Yes mother...it sounds fun...she's fine, just has a tummy bug...NO! I mean, we're fine so you just enjoy yourself...bye!" She said into the phone before hanging up.

"Why didn't you tell her?" Leo asked.

"Because until we figure out what we're going to do, we're not going to tell anyone. Now who knows about this?" She asked her daughter.

"No one knows, I didn't even know until you took me to the doctor."

"Does anyone know that you've had sex?"

"No, he promised me that he wouldn't tell anyone." She mumbled, she still hadn't told them who the father was. Suddenly Tigerclaw sat next to them.

"Alright: I've got a day off from work, your appointment at the maternity clinic is at half eleven and your boss thinks you've got that bug that's going around. Now is that it? Because I'm getting a sore ear." He joked.

"It's not a time for joking, Tigerclaw." Alopex glared at him.

"Yeah and we can't pretend that it's the end of the world either."

"It's the end of Leona's world."

"Excuse me, can you please stop talking about me like I'm not here." Leo glared at her parents.

"I'm sorry Leona, it's just been a shock for us." He sighed, rubbing his daughter's back lovingly. "We can't change what has happened, but we can help you from now on. But you've got to let us help you." He explained and she nodded.

"Now go get dressed." Alopex sighed.

"And drink plenty of water, it helps with the ultrasound!" He called after her. "Might as well get a look at our first grandchild."

Alopex just looked away...

At the high school Raphael sighed as he stood by Leona's locker, waiting for his girlfriend to come and meet him. But she didn't.

Suddenly he noticed April O'Neil walking by.

"April! Do ya know where she is?" He asked.

"She's called in sick again." April glared, clearly annoyed at something. "And know I'm left without a lad partner on one of Mr. Rockwell's projects!" She huffed and stormed off, leaving behind a very confused Raph...

"Do you want something to eat?" Alopex asked when they got back from the clinic.

"No thanks." Leo mutter and went up to her room. Alopex sighed as hung her coat up and pulled the ultrasound photo out of her purse.

"Do you want to see?" She asked her husband, who sat on the couch.

"No thanks, I saw it on the monitor." He replied. Alopex looked at the photo once again and burst into tears. Tigerclaw quickly pulled her into an embrace.

"Leona wouldn't even look at it, she just isn't taking this in." She sobbed before looking at her husband with stern eyes. "I don't want anyone to know about this, Tigerclaw! We've just got to keep her in and away from people. I know what they'll think, I know how they'll look at us." She sobbed loudly.

Tigerclaw pulled her closer as she sobbed loudly.

Unbeknownst to them, Leo was sat at the top of the stairs, listening to every word them were say about her. She had tears in her eyes as she clutched her abdomen, think about the baby growing inside her.

Her and Raph's baby...
