The next day it was snowing hard, the streets of New York were covered in an 8 inch layer of snow which made it almost impossible to go anywhere. It had been snowing all night and all day but it showed no sign of stopping any time soon. When April came over to her house that day the sky was dark as the night even though it was only 4 pm.
The red head was covered in snow.
Leo's parents were at work so it was just Kitsune home with her. After ten minuets of begging Kitsune finally agreed to let Leo go with April to the store down the street, so she could stretch her legs...

"Now are you sure you're alright? Like I told your family; I don't want you having the baby on me." April smiled as they arrived at the store.
"If you're so worried about it then why did you bother coming 'round today?" Leo glared at her human friend. At the other side of the store, Blanche was watching the girls with a disgusted glare on her face.
"Because we're friends, and if you do go into labour I'd like to tell everyone I was there." She smiled as she grabbed some junk food and soda before heading to the counter where Rita greeted them with a smile.
"It'll be a craving I suppose, with the sweets?" Rita asked as nice as she always is.
"Oh no, Leo's just a pig." April joked.
"I am not!"
"It's not a baby turtle in there, it's piglet." She added with a laugh and the girls paid for their food and turned to leave, only to be blocked by Blanche. The old salamander couldn't bite her tongue any longer.
"Disgraceful! Laughing and joking about!" She shouted at the two teens. "And that other will end up the same way, mark my words." She said to Rita, pointing at April.
"What did you say?" April warned.
"You heard."
"Blanche." Rita called, but the mutant wouldn't listen.
"It's not spreading you know, it's not a disease." Leo sniffed as her eyes began to water.
"If it was I might of had some sympathy."
"Oh just ignore her Leo, the shrivelled up old bag!" April spat at the older mutant.
"You see? No decency, no respect." She exclaimed to everyone in the store before turning to Leo. "Parading yourself about like you were something to be proud of, in my day kids like you were kept before closed doors and pulled curtains!"
"I didn't want to be like this and I don't want a baby!" Leo sobbed.
"Didn't stop you at the time did it?"
"RIGHT, THAT'S IT BLANCHE!" Rita suddenly shouted before she left the counter and opened the door. "I've had enough of the crap that comes out of your mouth, so until you learn to keep that big mouth of yours shut I don't want you in here!" She shouted.
"You what?" Blanche glared at her friend.
"Let me dumb it down for you; you're banned! Now get out!"
Blanche turned and glared at Leo before she left.
"Slut."...

When Leo and April got home the pregnant teenage turtle was sobbing her heart out. She and April were sat on the sofa, waiting for her parents to come home while Kitsune was in the kitchen, making her some green tea.
"Don't take any notice of what that old bitch said, she's probably going senile or something." April soothed as she rubbed Leo's shell.
"Yeah, but she's not the only one though; there's lots of them doing, talking behind my back, saying I'm a slut." She sniffed.
"No ones saying anything like that except her." She reassured her.
"How would you know?!" She snapped at her friend. "They don't look at you the same way they look at me; pretending not their not looking but you can see what their thinking, plain as day; at least the bitch in the store was honest."
"Having a big mouth doesn't make her right."
"It's not about what's right it's about what people think, and it's not going to stop when the baby's born it's going to go on and on for the rest of my life!" She cried as April pulled her into a hug. Just as Kitsune returned Leo's parents came through the door with pleasant smiles on their faces.
But their smiled vanished as soon as they saw the tears in their baby girl's face.
"What's wrong?" Alopex asked softly as she hugged the teen tightly...

Raphael Hamato sighed in relief as he slammed the front door shut. He was wearing a thick winter coat, scarf and had his hood up but he was covered in snow since it was still coming down hard. His parents had him shovelling snowy driveways and many other chores for the winter due to his rubbish grades and... other things.
His father was in the kitchen making some green tea, his mother was at work, Mikey was out having fun in the snow and Donnie was in his room finishing off projects that weren't due until mid spring.
As he passed the kitchen he and his father hardly acknowledge each other as he headed to his room with a small bag in his hand.
He just sat on his bed, trying to gather his thoughts as he reached into the bag and pulled out a teddy bear.
He had just bought it for Leona and her baby with the money he had earned from the chores he had been doing. He wanted to give it to her but he knew that if either his or her father found him anywhere near the house they would kill him in the worst way possible.
He looked from his bedroom door, to a picture of Leo and Raph on his night stand and the to the bear.
Raph's eyes narrowed as he put the bear back in the bag, grabbed the bag and headed for the front door...
