About three days after Yukiko's birthday April finally agreed to move in with Casey into his dad's house. His dad wasn't very happy about the situation but he promised to support them and their child.
Not only that, but they had Leo, Raph, Irma and April's dad to support them every step of the way. No had heard from Karen since she crashed Yuki's birthday; according to Kirby she'd gone to Spain for a for a few weeks.
Leona laughed as they walked into the playroom at Yuki's daycare as their daughter ran towards the toy chest, completely forgetting about her mother. As the turtle tot played, Leo walked over to the care worker with a rag doll in hand.
"Hey, I found this in Yuki's bag and it's not hers." She explained nervously as she handed the doll to the care worker.
"Don't worry honey, they're always doing this." She reassured as she took the doll of the young mother.
"Yukiko sweetie, I'm gonna go alright?" She called but the little one didn't even give her a glance. Leo just sighed and left...

Alopex and Tigerclaw sighed as they tried to untangle their Christmas lights. Kitsune was relaxing and the bath upstairs while they did all the work. Tigerclaw quickly abandoned the lights and started decorating the house with Christmas nick knacks.
As he was doing this he glanced over to his wife and frowned when he saw that she was muttering under her breath as she fussed with the tangled lights.
"You're muttering." He called.
"I don't mutter." She glared. Tigerclaw gave a soft chuckle as he went over and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Yes you do honey, but only when something's troubling you." He replied before placing a gentle kiss on top of her head and she sighed in defeat.
"It's just... with Christmas coming around I want us to celebrate as a family like we use to, but my Mother will only stay if she doesn't get another offer and Leona, Raphael and Yukiko... well, I can forget about them."
"Don't be so sure, I'm sure we can convince them to come over since it's Christmas." He reassured before going to the decorating...

"Yukiko! Nana's here to see you." The care worker smiled as she walked up to the toddler who was still playing with the costumes. Behind her was Catherine Aiuto. Yuki smiled brightly as she ran over and hugged her great-grandmother around the waist.
The care worker walked away to see to the other children.
"Look what I've bought you angel." The old turtle smiled as she pulled an expensive looking doll out of her handbag and gave it to the child. "It's another present, and this on is from your Grandma." She explained.
"Thank you Nana." She smiled and gave the old turtle a hug before going to draw a picture. As she scribbled on the paper, Catherine gently rubbed her shell.
"I don't know what possessed Mommy to give a strange name like Yukiko. If it had been up to me I'd of seen that you and her would of been raise right in the name of God and the proper name for you would be 'Joanna' which means 'gift of the Lord' in the bible, because that's what you are to me, a gift given to me by God when everything else I loved was snatched away." She mumbled, lost in thought.
"Everything alright Catherine?" The care worker called over.
"Oh yes, everything is fine." She smiled before turning back to Yuki, who kept on drawing. "You know, Bethany is where Jesus was reunited with his father in heaven, it must be so nice to be reunited with your loved ones in paradise." She sighed.
Her suddenly silence slightly frightened the young child but Catherine kept rubbing soothing circles into her shell so she didn't move.
"It must be much better than being raised in a house full of sin and being kept away from your family." She smiled as she seemed to be lost within her own thoughts.

That night it was Raph's turn to pick up Yuki from daycare. When they came into the apartment they saw Leona in the kitchen making their dinner.
"Hey princess, did you have a nice time at daycare?" She smiled as she hugged her daughter.
"Yeah." The little one quietly replied before trying to grab her bag from Raph's grip.
"She seemed quiet when I picked her up, kept talkin' about Jesus and all that stuff." He explained as he started emptying the small, Hello Kitty backpack.
"Oh they must of been doing something about Christmas." Leo smiled.
"Looks like she's got her career figured out, yer gonna be Kleptomaniac ain't ya?" He suddenly chuckled as he pulled a doll out of her bag; the same doll Catherine gave her.
"Oh no, I bet that's ruined some kid's weekend, and their parents'." Leo sighed before turning to her daughter, who flashed her with cutest little smile. "You are going to be expelled you little rascal."
"Should I put it back in tha bag so she doesn't ruin it?" He asked, only to find the doll suddenly snatched from his hand. They looked over just in time to see Yuki running off into her bedroom with it.
"Hopefully she'll get bored of it over the weekend." Leo giggled before going back to making dinner.
"Ya know, if she is gonna steal, do ya think she can bring home somethin' useful like a microwave and a video?"...
