The next morning Raph and Leona were having breakfast with their daughter as they discussed their wedding plans. When Raph told her about his father's decision she was furious with the old rat.
"Who does he think he is?!" She exclaimed.
"He's in shock." He shrugged.
"He's in shock because we're getting married? What century is he from?!" She glared. "I don't mind him being shocked, what I mind is his attitude and saying that he's washing his hands of you! What're you going to do?"
"Nothin' ta do."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I ain't gonna go and begging him, if he can't get over it that's his problem, it's yer parents I can't get over."
"I know, I expected them to dig their heels in and do what your Dad did." She laughed.
"Yeah, maybe they'll rub off on me Dad."
"But that doesn't change the main point."
"What point."
"That people think they have the right to tell us what to do, I mean, what gives them that right?"
"Guess they just can't get out of their roles." He shrugged. "They still see us as kids and they should decided what we should do."
"Well they better get used to it because I'm getting sick of it!"
"Don't let it bother ya."
"I know, but I just don't feel like I can relax with Yuki anymore." She sighed. "'Cause everyone's waiting for the next thing to go wrong; 'Oh look, teenager mother therefore her kid's gonna get abducted, or electrocuted, or something'! It's like their watching and waiting for the next mistake."
"And ta my Dad it's gettin' married."
"Exactly."
"Well we won't give them the satisfaction of being right, ours will be tha marriage taout last the all!" He cheered.
Leo just laughed...

Back at the Hamato house, Shen and her other sons were talking about the wedding. Yoshi had gone off to work without giving them so much as a glance. He and Shen hadn't spoken properly since she had got back from the apartment.
"Do you think I'll be best man?" Mikey asked as he looked online for the best wedding cake recipe.
"I don't think so Mikey, I think Raph's asking Casey." Donnie replied.
"But why?" He whined.
"Well, you're baking the cake and I'm sure Donatello will also be helping with the preparations, I'm sure Raphael wouldn't want to give you too much responsibility." Shen smiled.
"What does a best man do?" The blue eyed youngster asked.
"He'll have to: Provide moral support during the ring selection, shop for formalwear and coordinate purchases, serve as the groom's counselor and confidant, coordinate travel and accommodations, plan the bachelor party, help the guests, hold the wedding rings until the couple's ring exchange, stand next to the groom at the ceremony and give a speech in front of all the guests." Don explained.
"That's... a lot of stuff." Mikey gulped. "I think I'll just stick with baking the cake."
Shen and Donnie just laughed...

Raph smiled as he stood in the grocery store he worked in. He was on the phone with Casey Jones about the human being best man. Thankfully the human was more than happy to be his best friend's best man.
"Right Case, I'll see ya later." He smiled as he hung up, but when he turned around he was annoyed to see Yoshi standing there. "What do ya want now?"
"Raphael, please, your going to be nineteen soon, you shouldn't be getting tied down." He spoke softly.
"It's what I want." He glared.
"You shouldn't be thinking about marriage for at least ten years, you should be out living while you're young!"
"Why would I wanna go out inta tha world when I'm happy where I am!"
"Because you don't know any better."
"Don't patronize me!"
"I'm sorry my son, but it's true!"
"Look Dad, I'm really happy where I am, why can't ya just accept that?!"
"Because in ten years time you will have changed into a different person and you'll regret it! You will regret it and there's nothing you can do; it may see like years away Raphael but it will be here before you know it!"
"It's my life! If I mess up I'll only have myself ta blame!"
"I want to save you from all that pain!"
"And I want ya ta stop livin' my life fer me! What ya want isn't gonna happen! I am marrying Leo whether ya like it or not!" He shouted.
Yoshi sent him a glare before storming off...

After failing to get through to his son, Yoshi went straight to Leona's parents' house to see what they were planning. When he arrived he only found Alopex in the house.
"So, I have failed to talk into them, what about you?" He asked as she let him in.
"I'm afraid after what I've been through with them in the last few months, myself and Tigerclaw aren't even trying." She sighed.
"What?! So it's all left up to me?!" He shouted. "You are not telling me that you approve of this wedding?!"
"I'm no more happy about it than you are, but what can we do?" She shrugged. "The harder we try to break them up the stronger they get."
"You know as well as I do that this can only end in tears!"
"Part of me thinks that." She admitted. "But now I'm not so sure; I thought they'd be done by Christmas, I'd of put money on it, but maybe we've underestimated them."
"Alopex, we have to stop this wedding!"
"I think we'd be wasting our time, like I said, I've only just got Leona and Yukiko back after hardly seeing them for the last few months, if keeping them means go with what they want them I just have to smile and endure." She sighed.
Yoshi growled before leaving the Saiyo house...

When Yoshi went to his local for a must needed drink after work he was furious to see Leona, Raphael, his wife and sons, Leo's family, April and Casey and having a drink to celebrate.
"Dad." Raph sighed when he saw his father glaring at them.
"What's all this?" The rat sneered.
"Come on man, we're having a drink ta celebrate their wedding; it's all been booked and it's in month's time." Casey laughed, clearly drunk.
"You stupid boy." He glared at his son. "Both of you don't know what you want from one day to the next! Don't think I'll be coming to this ciruse!" He shouted before marching out the bar and into the night...
