Tensions

Raph awoke with a start as he heard the bedroom door open and watched as Leona walked into the bathroom.

Leo and Yuki had been back two nights now and the tension was think.

"How long have you been up?" She asked coldly as she made herself some tea.

"Not long, I was gonna bring ya breakfast." He smiled.

"Sorry, but I need to get to work." She said before walking back into the bedroom and locking the door.

Raph just sighed and slumped back into the couch...

Later that day Raph was at his job at the grocery store, thinking about how he could make things right between him and Leo.

He had just finished stacking selves when Alopex walked in.

"I can come back later if there's a problem." She said as she walked up to them.

"There ain't a problem."

"Leona and Yukiko, is everything alright?" She asked. "It's just that, when you came looking for them at our house you sounded worried."

"It's been fixed Mrs. Saiyo, we're happy." He smiled before walking away...

That night Raph and Leo were huddled on the couch with some Chinese takeout scattered all across the table.

Yukiko was sound asleep in her bed.

"Leo, I love ya more than anyone and I wanna be with ya fer tha rest of my life." Raph suddenly said before he gave her a gently kiss and deepened it when she didn't pull away.

Suddenly the buzzer went off and Leo shot up to answer it.

"Hello?" She answered.

"It's April." Came the reply and Leo buzzed her up. Raph sighed as stood up and waited for their human friend to come up.

When April entered the apartment she didn't look happy.

"What is it April?" Leo asked.

"Didn't you believe what I said about him?" She hissed.

"I believe what happened, happened."

"Then what're you doing back with him?!"

"Because it didn't mean anything!"

"I think ya better go." Raph glared.

"You can't tell me what to do!"

"Well then I'm telling you!" Leona snarled. "I'm Raph's girlfriend and I trust him, and I'm tired of your complaints; who the hell do you think you are?!"

April just scoffed and Leo's expression softened.

"Listen, my Mom made me choose between her and Raph, I don't want to do that with you."

"And I don't want to see you have your heart broken, but I can see I'm wasting my breath." She hissed before leaving...
