Regrets

What?!

It took the ambulance almost 28 minuets to get to the hospital thanks to all the snow on the roads. When they finally arrived the doctor carefully eased Leona into a wheelchair and began to push her into the hospital and towards the maternity unit. Alopex and Raphael were at either side of her while April and the rest of her family were following close behind the doctor.

Leo had a thick blue hospital blanket over her, pulled up to her chest, and the top of her daughter's green head was seen poking out from the top of the blanket.

The little one had finally settled down and was happily snuggled up against her mother's chest. Leo had a content smile on her face as she leaned down and gently kissed the baby's head. The baby lifted her head slightly and cooed a little but didn't make a fuss.

Leo had a content smiled as she rubbed the little turtle's shell.

As she was pushed down to the maternity unit a nurse saw the whole group go down the hallway, but they didn't notice her. She quickly walked into the staff room and made a call...

"Cheese!" Kitsune, Alopex and April cheered as Tigerclaw snapped a picture of them. Kitsune was holding the baby with Alopex and April at either side of her, everyone was smiling. When they had made it to the unit a nurse had taken Leo to get cleaned up and everyone else were having a hold of her daughter.

The only one who hadn't had a hold yet was Raphael.

The room Leo was staying in had three other beds at each corner of the room with three other women in them, two of them had already had their babies yet the one next to Leo was still heavily pregnant.

Leo then came back in, followed by a nurse and dressed in a hospital gown and looking much better after a nice shower. As Leo climbed into the bed Kitsune placed the baby in a transparent hospital baby bed; at the end of it was a pink slip of paper that said:

Name: Baby Girl Saiyo

Weight: 7.7 lbs

Time of Birth: 18:15

Mother's Name: Leona Saiyo

Father's Name: Raphael Hamato

"Leona, in a few minuets we'll be taking your daughter to see the paediatrician, just make sure everything is alright and then she'll be placed in the viewing room for an hour for the family to see since visiting hours are almost over." She explained with a friendly smile before leaving the cubical.

Leo looked at Raph and saw him looking down at the baby nervously and his hands twitched every few seconds.

Leo gave out a light chuckle.

"You can hold her Raphie, she's not going to bite, especially since she doesn't have any teeth yet." She joked and Raph blushed from embarrassment. He bent down and picked his daughter up when the doors to the room burst open.

Raphael's eyes widened when he saw his parents walk inside...

Down the hall from the room where Leo was, Donnie and Mikey were waiting for their mother and father to return. They could hear their father and Raph shouting from down the hall.

Mikey flinched and Donnie pulled him closer.

"Why is Dad so angry?" He asked innocently.

"Because Raph disobeyed him." Donnie stated coldly.
