Saphrin's POV
I don't know how I came back to life, I just started breathing again.
Today, Cameron was taking me to the park, as a day to relax. So many things have happened ever since I started to date Cameron and he's been with me through all the shit with me.
When we had nothing better to do, we would go to the park.
I grabbed my Penny and headed outside. I walked across the street and saw Cameron waiting for me on his front porch.
"Hey beautiful." He said hugging me.
"Ready" I asked.
He nodded and we started skating. It was late spring and it was farely hot outside with small winds. Beginning to feel like summer.
Cameron grabbed my hand and we kept skating.
When we got to the park, I headed to the swings but Cameron directed me away from them.
"Where are going?" I followed Cameron.
He smiled and kept walking until he reached a huge tree, easy to climb.
He went first and helped me to the other side of the trunk.
"When you were still dead, the next day I woke up mad at myself. I walked here and took my keys and carved all this into the tree." He pointed to little drawings carved into the trunk.
I read them all, some making me form tears.
"I love you Saphrin"
"You have no idea how much I love you"
"Until we meet again"
Finally, there was a big heart. Inside was carved saying,
Saphrin & Cameron
Under it, stated my all time favorite quote:
Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
To top it off, the sweetest thing was carved just below it.
R.I.P Beautiful -Cameron
I slowly looked over all of them one last time. I looked up at Cameron and smiled with tears rolling down my cheek.
He grinned and faintly laughed.
"You mean so much to me" he whispered, looking at his hands.
"I'm still mad at myself for what I did. I would do anything to redo what I did. Even if your alive or dead, I'll always regret what I did. I know I'll never be able to forgive myself."
He paused.
"I just never got the chance to ask for forgiveness." He continued.
His eyes slowly traveled up to mine, locking in place.
I smiled and he just stared at me, waiting.
"Cameron, I love you so much. I would forgive you for anything you ever do. People make mistakes. I kissed Nash, you slept with someone. I'm fine with that, I forgive you."
He grew a smile, and played with the leaves on the tree branch.
"The more important question now is, do you forgive me." I asked.
My stomach dropped, I knew he would forgive me but there's always a chance he wouldn't.
"Yes, it's the same with you. You made a mistake, so did I. I love you so much, I would give up anything to be with you." He smiled.
I blushed a little and looked out around the town.
I felt someone grab my hand and I focused on the sunset.

After a while me and Cameron went back to his house.
Since it was only around 6:00 pm the sun was still up and warm, Cameron wanted to go swimming.
I ran over to my house to get my bathing suit and changed.
I got walked back over and saw Cameron already in.
"Is it warm?" I asked setting down my phone.
"Yeah, feels nice."
I got in and it was really warm. I hadn't been swimming since last summer. I had a pool in my back yard but I never really used it.
Cameron swam over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"You know you're so beautiful right?" He said.
"You tell me all the time." I replied, I smirked.
"It's true" He spun me around.
Me and Cameron later decided we were hungry, so we got out and he ordered a pizza.
He checked my phone and a message appeared on the screen.
It was a restricted number.
"I hate your fucking guts"
I frowned and locked my phone.
I walked in the living room and sat down next to Cameron.
"Hey, Cameron. Umm, no matter what happens in the future, you will always love me. Like literally no matter what gets between us?" I asked.
"Yes, why?" He said.
"No reason, just wondering. Promise?"
"Promise." He stated.
I held out my pinky for him to pinky promise but he pushed it aside and kissed me instead.
I went to the kitchen and looked at the text one last time. I have no idea who it is, where there from.
I didn't pay attention but I knew it could be a wrong number.
At the same time, I was also 99% sure it was for me though.
I became aware, but it scared me.
I knew someone was out for something.
