Have a book with you at all times:
Whenever you have a moment, you can break out a book and read.
•
Make a list:
There's a sense of fulfilment and motivation tracking the books you've read. You'll always be able to reference the list or provide recommendations, and will be inspired by the compounding effect reading has. Soon after you begin, you'll already have a handful of books completed, and it will be motivating to see that list grow.
•
Read multiple books:
Reading multiple books at once can help keep your mind and thoughts fresh.
•
Listen to books:
You can basically listen to books everywhere. Instead of listening to music, for example, you can listen to books.
•
Prioritise:
If you want to read more, reading has to become a priority. It has to take precedence over watching Netflix, scrolling through Instagram or taking snaps.
•
Join a book club:
Joining a book club can motivate you to read more. It's motivating to read with others and share what you've read.
•
Set yourself goals:
For example you can say, today you will read 50 pages of this book and if you manage to do so you will get a reward.
I'm going to start doing QOTD (Question of the day)
QOTD: What's the last book you read?
