Brushing:
Kind of a no brainer but brush your teeth at least 2 times a day. Aim for 3 because you will get lots of food stick in your braces.

Flossing:
I'm really bad at this one even though I know I should floss daily. You might not think it helps but trust me it does, and if you are anything like me and don't like flossing daily try every other day!

Pain:
The second you get home from getting your braces tightened take some sort of pain killer. This will give the medicine some time to sink in before you actually feel pain. It kinda depends on your pain tolerance but I recommend eating soft foods like yogurt and smoothies when your teeth hurt.

Colour:
When picking the colour of your braces there are many choices. I heard that the darker colours make your teeth look whiter.
