Get out of bed the same time each morning:
By keeping a regular routine your body will find it easier to wake up at the right time. You should also go to bed at the same time to help develop your sleep routine.

Drink a glass of cold water:
There are plenty of benefits which come with doing this
-cleanses digestion
-helps make you feel awake
-stimulates bowel movement and helps prevent constipation
-promotes healthy sweating and weight loss
-forces toxins out of the body

Avoid technology:
The light can be harmful to your brain and hurt your eyes when you wake up. This also helps prevent you from getting distracted when you should be getting ready!

Stretches:
Do a few stretches in bed and incorporate some yoga moves. Yoga has a calming affect and will help you keep a positive mindset throughout the day.

Plan your day:
In order to make sure you get the most out of your day, make a quick plan of all the tasks that need to be achieved.

Eat breakfast:
Eating breakfast will help you jumpstart your metabolism, and give the appropriate energy you need to get on with the day.

Positive thoughts:
Whenever you wake up, in your mind think of at least 5 things that you appreciate about yourself, lucky to have or accomplishments you have made. This will make you start the day with a positive approach and learn to appreciate small things more!

Others:
-listen to feel good music whilst you do your morning routine to make you feel more awake and upbeat
-open the curtains straight away for natural light
-make your bed as soon as you get up so you're not tempted to get back in!
-do not use snooze
-ignore your phone until you are completely ready. Turn off your notifications if this helps!
