Drink Water:
Eating healthy starts with drinking healthy. I'm sure you've heard it a thousand times, but drinking water is the best thing for your body as it promotes weight loss, clears your skin, and flushes out bad toxins.
•
Eat A Balanced Diet:
Fill half your plate with fruits and vegetables then split the other half between whole grains and lean protein.
•
Eat At The Right Times:
Studies show there are times proven best for eating. The best time to have breakfast is at 7, lunch at 12:30 and dinner at 6. Eat healthy snacks in between these intervals for the healthiest eating habits.
•
Read The Nutritional Labels:
Even if you're not on a diet, you should always read the labels on packaged foods or sugars, sodium, fats & calories. Avoid eating foods with artificial or processed ingredients.
•
Cut Out Junk Food:
As stated above, foods with preservatives are bad for your health as they don't fill you up (empty calories), cause acne, and weight gain. Of course you can still treat yourself, but go for junk food that contain less fillers or is sold at an organic shop.
