Gladis left them and they walked down the long corridor.
“I thought it’d be a bit more heavily protected.” Dan whispered.
“Why are you whispering?” Nick lowered his voice too.
“Cause someone might hear us.” Dan answered.
A gun clicked.
“Step into that closet over there.” Goodwin ordered.
“Why is it always the closet?” Dan wondered, him and Nick shuffled in there.
“Why are you doing this?”
“Florence killed my nephew, she deserves the same fate.”
Dan and Nick look wide eyed at eachother and the closet door shut.
“Okay, one question.” Dan said calmly.
“Yes?”
“WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!” Dan yelled.
“Let’s take this one step at a time. 1. Florence supposedly murdered Gavin. 2. We got her out. 3. We went on the run and ended up at the base where Mara was. 4. We beat eachother up and Florence finds out Mara is alive. 5. We go out and get the band but meet Goodwin. 6. Mara kidnaps Florence. 7. We go to the base and you eventually find out Florence is pregnant. 8. We are now here after finding out Goodwin is Gavin’s uncle.”
“What does the Operative want with Florence?” Dan responded.
“Maybe Mara was trying to protect Florence from Goodwin or they want to torture Florence also and if Goodwin and Erickson ally together then we are in a lot of trouble. We need to get out of this closet.” Nick said putting all his weight into ramming the door.
“Nick, you know he left the door unlocked.”
“What kind of idiot would do…?” Nick opened the door and shot a look at Dan, which made Dan smirk smugly.
They ran down the corridor and bumped into a man. “Hey you seen a brunette about this tall, kinda weird and aggressive?” Dan gestured a lot. He pointed towards the gym. Dan and Nick ran in there to see Florence and Riley. Good thing Zach and Mara weren’t there. “DANIEL!” Florence shrieked and ran over to him.
