“You know what, I don’t regret sparing him, I did this to save you. Zachary isn’t mean all the time.”
“There you go. You’re on his side; if you had any compassion you’d see that me and my baby aren’t safe. Someone is going to die, don’t drag me into this.” Florence pleaded.
“Escaping isn’t an option, you have to work for Zach or you will die.” Florence knew this was the truth.
Mara soon there after took Florence to her room. The bed was comfortable Florence noticed but it was more like a cell than a room. “I’ll see you soon.” Mara disappeared leaving Florence – who lay on the bed staring at the ceiling.
Meanwhile, Nick and Dan ran into a storehouse. There were only a few guards to beat up and they found Will, Woody and Kyle.
“This is too easy, something is wrong.” Nick said.
A few seconds later they were surrounded, guns clicking.
“It’s always a trap.” Kyle muttered.
“Operative I’m assuming.” Nick addressed the man in charge.
Goodwin frowned. “No, MI5.”
“Okay, slightly confused here.” Dan replied.
“We are investigating the Operative, our only lead was Gavin McFadden and we believe Florence Heathcliff murdered him. We had an anonymous tip that she’d be here.” Goodwin explained.
“Still confused.” He continued.
“Basically, we’ve been set up, they have caught us thinking we’re the bad guys and they’re trying to find…Florence, we left Florence and the Operative must want her too. How could I be so stupid?!” Nick whacked his hand against his forehead.
“But Mara and Gwen are with her.” Dan answered.
“Gwen? My daughter?” Goodwin asked.
“We have to get back to base, Inspector MI5 dude, follow us and we’ll try and figure all this out.” They started walking to their cars.
Dan looked at Will, Kyle and Woody. “What has Florence done this time?” Will said.
“Can we stop for McDonalds?” Will enquired. “Dude where are my kittens?” Kyle looked insane. “Murdered someone, no and can we just go?” Dan yelled and they ran to get into the cars back to the base.
