Nick and Riley stood backstage at a Bastille concert.
Riley sang all the words and Nick joined in a few times which made them start having laughing fits.
Dan didn’t seem to enjoy this concert; he put it on if he ever seemed happy. Deep in his heart he missed Florence a lot and he needed her to be there.
“Danny’s doing well considering Flo not being here.” Riley noted.
“Riley, what you see is a front, Dan misses her a lot and I’m pretty sure he’s been drinking.” Nick answered. They had to shout because the music was too loud.
Florence entered backstage, her hair was dyed blonde and she had blue contacts in.
She walked past Nick and Riley. They totally checked her out. Then she walked back.
“Are you lost?” Nick enquired.
“No, well, yes. I can’t find the toilet funny enough.” She put an American accent on.
“You’re from DC aren’t you? I used to live on the outskirts.”
“I thought so.” She smiled.
“I’ll show you.” He held out his arm and she took it.
“What’s your name?”
“Joanna.”
“Nick.” His eyes lit up. Florence sighed. “What’s up?”
“I can’t do this.”
“Do what?”
“Nicholas, you are hitting on me, and I’m supposed to kill you.” Florence said straight.
“I’m sorry Florrie; you’re just so attractive blonde.” He hugged her from behind, she felt the warmth.
“Nick.” She released herself. “You’re my first hit.”
“That’s quite sad.”
“If I don’t kill you they’ll kill me and the rest of us anyway.”
“What if I join you?” He suggested.
