Nick steered the bus down interlocking streets. Dan and Florence slid around on the floor holding onto the poles. Florence decided to annoy Nick by pressing the button so the bell went off next to his head.

“Florence, I have a tazor in my pocket do you want me to electrocute you?” He sneered.

“I’m sorry I just want to get off this stupid bus, the floor hurts my butt.” She replied.

“We’re nearly at our next stop; it’s hard to manoeuvre a bus in small streets.”

“How are you going to hide this bus?” Dan wondered.

“It’s a bigger secret base.”

“Last base didn’t seem so secret.”

“We were sloppy, we didn’t clean up our mess well enough. They must’ve followed us.”

“Oh no, cause one guy driving a bus is definitely inconspicuous.”

“This base is underground, we could ditch the bus and walk in but then cameras could find us and that isn’t good.”

“But won’t there be people there?” Florence butted in.

“No someone who has higher authority has let us use it.”

“I’m guessing it’s a woman, did you use your charm?”

“If you knew you definitely wouldn’t be saying that.”

Florence raised her eyebrow and Dan smirked because he actually knew what Nick was talking about.

“Its fine Florence, we’re always one step ahead. We’ve always had this planned just in case someone did try and hurt you again.”

“Well say thank you to your higher friend woman.” She said. Nick nodded.

Florence and Dan sang in their worst out of tune voices until they were inside and the bus stopped.

“Oh it’s only you two, I was under the impression I had two strangled cats as passengers. Aren’t you supposed to be good a singing?” Nick smiled sarcastically.

“Better than you Nick, better than you. Unless you’re a singing, dancing spy?” Dan answered back. Florence laughed and gave Dan a high-five.
