Chapter 56

You slammed the door to your bedroom, your tears sliding down your chubby red cheeks. You wiped them away as you couldn't think straight.

You went over to the bed as you sat down on it. There was a knock on your door, before you could say anything, it opened. Dio stepped inside as he looked at you & smiled, holding Iggy in his arms, "Hello, my dear. Please, don't cry. It doesn't suit you."

You looked over as you smiled a bit, seeing Iggy was all better, his wounds healed. He hands you Iggy as you held him close to you, Iggy licked your faces, taking in your tears like he was wiping them away. You looked away from Dio, your eyes were red & puffy from your tears. You didn't know what to say. You were torn by two men & two different paths. One path was with Jotaro, traveling the world with him & loving him. The other was Dio, being a true queen, helping each other to learn how to love, to be better for both him & your people, fulfilling your duties as a princess & stopping the war that might break out with Dios Castle & yours.

You felt slight weight on the bed next to you. You looked as you saw Dio sitting next to you, facing towards the door as he sighs, brushing his fingers through his hair. He turned his head to look at you as he smiles a bit, "What would you like?"

You blinked as you looked at him, "What do you mean?" You pet Iggy gentle as he lays on your lap.

"What I mean by that, is saying how would you like our wedding to be? Small? Large?... I want everything to be perfect for you, my dear. If nothing is perfect, I don't know what I'll do."

You sighed as you listened to him speak. You spoke softly, "Whatever it may be, I'll be happy."

He looked at you once more, smiling softly, "I really do want us to be happy with one another, I really do. It makes me happy how you denied that imbecile. Shows how true you are as a wife."

You didn't say anything as you could feel the fresh tears sting your eyes, making your vision blurry.

The room was quiet. Slight tension filling the air.

Dio stood up from the bed as he sighs, looking at you, "Well, I shall take my leave. I have paperwork that needs to be taken care of. My dear, whatever you want for our wedding, I shall make it come true. Okay?"

You blinked away your tears as you looked up at him, forcing a smile as you nod your head, "Of course. Whatever I want, I'll let you know."

He smiled as he leaned down, capturing your lips with his. You shiver slightly as his kiss took you by surprise. You closed your eyes as he gently brushed his hand against your cheek. He pulled away slightly as he smirked, "Did you like my kiss~?"

You blushed deeply as you looked away. He laughed softly as he walked over to the door, "Oh, your friends are all leaving as of now. Would you still like to say goodbye?"

He looked at you as you looked back at him, nodding your head. You stood up, holding Iggy in your arms, "Yes. I want to say goodbye."

He held his hand out toward you as he smiled, "Let's go, shall we?"

You wrapped your arm around his, holding Iggy in the other. You both walked down the long hall towards the stairs. You looked toward the entrance as you saw your fellow friends all waiting for you. Everyone, except for Jotaro. You didn't know if you should he happy to not see him, or sad that that augment would be the last time you talk to one another.

You walked down the long stairway towards the entrance. Everyone looked at you as they smiled sadly, not wanting to leave you.

You unwrapped your arm from Dios as you went over to them, Iggy looking at the as he cuddled into you. Polnareff began to get teary eyed as he hugs you, "Princess! I'll miss you so much!"

You blushed lightly as you smiled softly, hugging him back as Iggy growled from the close contact. Polnareff looked down at him as he rubbed Iggy's head, "I'll miss you too, mutt!"

Iggy growled as you held him close, not wanting for him to pounce on Polnareff. Avdol bows towards you as he smiled, standing up straight, "It was very nice to get to know you on this journey, Princess." You smiled as you bow as well, "It was very nice to have you as a friend, too, Avdol." You both hug as Joseph began to cry & hug you, "Oh No!! I didn't want to cry, but I can't help myself!"

Kakyoin nods his head as he looked at you & smiled, "We're all going to miss you, Princess. Even Jotaro."

You couldn't help but have tears in your eyes. You never knew people could miss you this much. You smiled as you thanked them all for the long journey they took with you to get to your final destination.

They all waved goodbye as they left outside. You watched them take the carriage that you've road in with them. Jotaros back was to you, walking next to the carriage as everyone kept turning & waving goodbye. You waved back, but your heartached, knowing that you'll never see any of them ever again.

The doors closed as you were back inside the dim lite Castle. Dio placed his arm on your shoulder as you looked up at him, "Well, I'm happy you've gotten a chance to say goodbye. But, you should get some rest, take a nap." You nod your head as you held Iggy close to you, walking back up the steps.

As you gotten into your room, you placed iggy down on the bed, going inside the bathroom to shower & wear pjs. As you lay in the bed, you couldn't help but think about the man you loved throughout your journey. Iggy cuddled into you as your eyes became heavy. You slowly fell asleep.

You've awoken to creaks of the floor. As you slowly opened your drowsy eyes, you've realized that the sun was setting outside. You heard Iggy growl & bark, than you could hear him outside your room. Wait, how? He was with you on your bed, now he's out your room. That makes no sense.

You stood up as you went over to your door, but the room became flooded with darkness. You looked around, panic filling you, as you realized the curtains were now closed.

You began to freak out, trying to stay calm, as you searched in the dark room for the door handle, or a light switch. Your hands dragged across the walls. You soon felt someone hug you from behind. You screamed, but your mouth was covered, muffling your screams of fear.
