Yuki had started taking down monsters left and right giving them literally no chance to slip by her, and those that did she took out. "I won't let you near them!" The moblin that she was going up against rammed her with his dragon bokospear causing Yuki to gasp in pain as the spiked end of it was rammed I to her ribs. She felt blood run down her stomach and she groaned "ya no, that wasn't nice." And with that she sliced it in half. It disappeared into a puff of purple smoke and she turned to face several more monsters. A grimace forming on her face when all of sudden she heard that voice. "Do you wish to protect them young one?" Yuki glared as she hacked away another monster, only for more to takes its place. "Of course I want to protect them you stupid voice! Why do you think I'm fighting!"
She didn't care that she was yelling at nothing in particular, and she defiantly didn't care about her own wounds or looking as if she was insane. "Then protect them! I can only do so much. So the rest is up to you." Yuki nodded and let out a battle cry as she swung down, repeatedly defeating monsters in her path. Yet she was tiring and she was now covered in blood, both her own and monsters alike. And yet she had hardly made a dent. It was like they just kept coming. "Young one! Now is the time! I'm giving you my power! No, let me amend that, I'm awaking your lost dormant power. Now, end this!" Yuki blinked confused by what was said to her but she didn't care at the time.
Power, raw power was now coursing through her blood and she held out her hand, her last sword having broke. "I'm going to end this here!" And with that her power flared to life all around her, rapidly forcing things to age to the point of death, and decomposing. By the time she was done she was worn out. She fell to her knees and looked to the sky. "Goddess....protect them please. I've done all I can." And with that the first of the two had fallen.
It wasn't long however before a member of the sheika tribe had found her and panicked. Thinking she was dead until he noticed she was just barely breathing. So in order to save her life, and stop Ganon he took her to one of the shrines of resurrection.
Meanwhile link and Zelda were now stuck fighting off monsters of their own, Yuki it seemed was unable to prevent all of them from chasing, but it seemed like she was able to slow them down and buy them some much needed time. Zelda gasped as a chill went down her spine and she feared that something awful had just happened, Link had a similar look on his face but none the less destroyed another guardian. "Link, we need to go, now. We can't fight all of them." He growled "something happened didn't it? Something just happened" Zelda looked down "I'm afraid so, yet i don't know what it was. For a moment I felt old raw power fill the land, and as fast as it arrived it vanished."
He looked over at zelda while catching his breath, he was heavily wounded and he was worried about how Yuki was faring against so many monsters. He could only pray she was either on her way to them or fled the battle. He wouldn't call her coward either, this was becoming to much, even for him. And he honestly didn't know how long he could hold on. "Old power. Why do i feel like this involves Yuki?" Zelda shrugged both of them were covered in mud and now soaked from the heavy rains. "I don't know, but I'll be sure to ask her once we find her again." Link nodded as he grabbed zelda and started running again. Monster after monster fell to his blade, guardians included. Yet for everyone he killed more came out of seemingly nowhere.
"For hylia's fucking sake!" Zelda stared at him and her jaw dropped. "Link." He was worn out, and ready to fall over, yet finally, finally the monsters were slowing, and no more seemed to be showing anytime soon. All around them was death, weather human, sheika, or hylian. Even monsters were dying, around his was literally a graveyard of guardians. She reached out to touch him but he backed away panting air, he was rapidly losing blood due to the injury he had received from what appeared to have been Ganon himself, yet it wasn't. "You've done enough, as your princess, I am ordering you to fall back!" He snorted, he didn't mean to it just slipped "sorry, but I think that doesn't apply here, Incase you haven't noticed, this is a battle field, and honestly, the less of these alive, the more chance people have to run and live." Zelda frowned. She went to speak again when he shoved her behind him as a guardian stalker climbed up on several others and aimed its eye at link.
Zelda's eyes widened in horror, she could now see that link was ready to collapse so she pushed past him holding out her hand and yelled "no!" Her powers then suddenly flared to life and the guardian seemed to have malfunctioned as it fell down and stopped moving. Link however could no longer stand as he fell backwards. Zelda ran over and held him up "please, don't leave." He tried to speak, but found it incredibly hard. Eventually he succumbed to the darkness as Zelda cried against his chest. And with that the second of the pair had fallen to Ganon.
It didn't take long before members of the sheika tribe arrived. "Princess! What happened?" zelda looked up and saw the master sword faintly glowing and her eyes widened. "He's still alive, there is still a chance. Take him to the chamber of resurrection. When i see Yuki...." she didn't know how to tell Yuki, in fact she was scared of how Yuki would react. Carefully she picked up the sword. "Princess, about that. You won't be seeing Yuki anytime soon." Her eyes widened in horror. How had the two of them fallen in battle. Soon enough guilt was eating at her. "Don't fret, she's been taken to the second chamber." Zelda Instantly looked relieved as Link was now carried away. "What are you going to do now?"
She looked at impa "what only I can do, first i will put the master sword back until both link and Yuki are well enough to return and finish this battle. Then I am going to play my part and hold ganon off. No matter how long it takes." And with that she left the area heading to the lost woods and then to the castle to face off ganon and hopefully trap ganon at least temporarily inside of hyrule castle.
