Everyone was oddly quiet as they were heading to the Great Platea  which was located in central hyrule. Not even Revali was talking. Which was oddly worrying in its own rights. But everyone was also nervous. They were about to test a theory and they were hoping and praying that they were right. "So what happens if it's not me?" Urbosa looked at her "then we keep looking, however I firmly believe that it's you." "I'm pretty sure it's not." Link rolled his eyes "shut it Yuki. Like Urbosa said I'm sure it's you. No one else has half the qualities that you possess." Yuki sighed and she went back to being silent. Honestly she was worried, what if it was her? What would that mean for her? And would it change everything she knew?
After several long hours they were finally at a half way point when they decided to stop and take a break. Yuki froze a bit as she felt something was a bit off and she moved closer to Link. She wasn't aware however that it was the temple its self waking to her presence. It felt her approaching and it's ancient power, was finally arising from its long slumber. "Yuki? What's the matter?" "I don't know, I feel like something is off, like something is happening." He looked around and wrapped an arm around her as he scanned the area for anything that could be a threat to her life. "Want me to check from the sky?" "If you wouldn't mind Revali." "Of course I don't, we don't need anything happening to her." And with that said he took to the sky and looked around. Once he saw nothing of any danger did he land.
"You see anything?" "Nothing, I see the temple in the distance but that's it." Link nodded as he kept his arm around Yuki. He didn't want anything to happen to her. She sighed as she stayed close to him. Zelda frowned as even she looked around. "I feel something, like somethings waking up from a deep sleep." Yuki frowned as she listened to zelda. "I really hope it's not Ganon." That made everyone cringe. "That would be worst case scenario." She nodded and soon relaxed before she pulled away from Link. "It's going to be okay Yuki." "I hope so." And with that she sat down and leaned against a tree. Link walked over to zelda and they began to talk about what could possibly happen at the temple.
Urbosa walked over and sat down next to Yuki "so, I've been meaning to ask you, what happened that day?" Yuki looked at her before she sighed as she realized what she was asking "at the stall?" "Yes." Yuki sighed "a group of girls, were looking at me, they....they were pointing at their stomachs and then pointing to mine...I realized they were talking about my scar..." Urbosa's eyes widened and then filled with rage, people were honestly so cruel. "What happened after?" It was Mipha who asked as she sat down next to Yuki. Yuki sighed as she looked over once again at Link, he was still talking to zelda but Revali and Daruk had joined them. "The one girl...she came over and said I shouldn't wear that outfit. That women weren't suppose to have scars. So I snapped, I said how do they know I didn't get that from almost dying and a doctor had just barely managed to save my life." Urbosa nodded "That is how you got it." "Exactly. They said a few more things before they said the guy with me...he was only with me out of pity and that he could do better." That caught Links attention but he didn't show it.
"And it managed to get into my head, and it stung, it really managed to get under my skin and it caused me to doubt everything." She sighed "after that they called me a trouble making whore." Link felt himself tense anger now visible on his face. Daruk who was usually much calmer was just as angry. Yet no one said anything. "So when I came back, I guess it was just at the wrong time, or because my head was already so full of doubts that I saw zelda place a hand on Links shoulder and I guess it was what really got to me. I had intended to just go home after all of it, and not speak of it again. I was gonna just tell him we we are better off as partners and break not just his heart but my own."
It was silent for a few moments "and how did you respond to this link?" Link looked over and crossed his arms "i proved to her that I loved her, that I loved everything about her." That made several people raise an eyebrow "I kissed her scars, i held her, and told her she was the only one for me." That made the women awe and smile "that's adorable" Link however wasn't done as he walked over and pulled Yuki up from her spot on the ground "Link?" "Does it still bother you?" She frowned "the scar?" "Yes that scar." "Sometimes." He sighed as he pulled her shirt up just enough to reveal her scar. He knelt down and before she could stop him he placed a gentle kiss to the mark. "Never be ashamed of your body." And with that he stood up and brushed her hair out of her face.
Yuki was blushing and the girls giggled. "We should get moving again." Link sighed "Yeah, we really should." Once everyone was ready did they start heading towards the temple of time. Once they arrived and everyone had climbed the stairs did Zelda open the doors. Everyone walked inside taking in the simple beauty the temple possessed. Then Yuki walked in and everyone froze. It was like the temple had come to life, the entire building was pulsing like it had a heartbeat. Never before had the temple done something like that. They turned to look at Yuki who was frozen in her spot. Her grey eyes were a light shade of grey they almost appeared to be a blue color. That surprised everyone but the biggest surprise was the fact that Yuki herself pulsed very much like the temple.
"Yuki!" "It must be her" Yuki didn't even hear them, she just walked forward and everyone moved out of her way, they were watching her, seeing what was going to happen. As Yuki climbed up onto the pedestal she gasped. It was like ancient power was  now coursing throughout her entire body. She reached forward intending to touch the statue of the goddess. Everyone in the room held their breath, waiting to see what was going to happen. Just as Yuki went to touch the statue did something occur. Just as her hand touched it she found herself suddenly being blasted backwards into a wall. She gasped in pain and several people were yelling her name.
Link ran over to Yuki and knelt down gently pulling her up and against him "Yuki? What happened?" She groaned as she tried to steady herself. Her body was In pain and she honestly had no idea. Just as she went to speak did she hear a voice "hurry! Get out! Someone's watching you, and if she finds you, she'll kill you." Yuki looked around completely confused. If didn't dawn on her that she really was the goddess and the temple was trying to protect her "you need to leave! Quickly! Take the back door it'll lead you to a forest, it's a short cut to the spring of wisdom. But hurry, before it's to late. I can only do so much!" Yuki groaned holding her head "we need to leave, now." "What?" "Someone's watching this place." This alarmed everyone as they went to head to the front door. "No, the back door. I'll explain how I know this later just please."
They nodded and Link picked up Yuki before they all ran out the back door. Once they were far enough away did they stop so Mipha could heal Yuki's back. "What the hell happened? I was so sure it was you." "I don't know. I heard a woman, she was telling me what was happening and that we were being watched. I'm sorry I'm not the goddess." Urbosa crossed her arms "I still damn well believe it's you." "Why?" "How do you know the temple wasn't trying to protect you?" That made Yuki go silent. What if Urbosa was right. "Little one, are you hurt? I'm sorry I blasted you, but, it's not yet time, when you once again feel the pull return to this place. However I shall be waiting for you, in Anilya." And with that the voice vanished. Yuki didn't know what to say or how to answer so she stayed silent.
"What else did the voice tell you?" She sighed as she explained how the voice said this was a short cut to The spring of wisdom, but Zelda isn't allowed there yet." Zelda sighed "that's correct, we still need to go to the spring of power." "If I recall right it's up past zora's domain, past Akala tower and it's cathedral." "That's correct." "Then that's where we need to head." "Yes. The sooner the better, it'll be another month before we can visit Wisdom." At this Everyone groaned, another month of waiting. But that was only if nothing happened At the spring of power.
Link wrapped an arm around Yuki as Mipha finished healing her "I'm sorry, I didn't think you would get hurt." She gave him a soft smile before she kissed his cheek "it's okay, none of us knew." He nodded as he hid his face against her neck. "The voice spoke to me again, a few moments ago." "What did it say?" While she was distracted he moved the side of her shirt and gently shushed her as she went to stop him. She shrugged her shoulders, not realizing his intentions. As she explained what she was told did he slowly drag his tongue along the exposed skin drawing a shiver from her. He simply tightened his grip as he repeated his early action, then he gently started sucking on the exposed skin, turning it bright red before he bit down, her eyes widened and she bit down on her tongue to stop a moan from slipping past her lips as she pinched Links arm and he chuckled. Pulling back he gave her a smirk before fixing her shirt. "Sounds to me like the temple was protecting her."
She gave him an unamused look and he raised an eyebrow as he moved to stand behind her and wrapped his arms around her "you two are adorable." Yuki blushed and looked away. "Anyway, we really should go, I don't wanna be around Incase that person is still looking." They all agreed and took off heading for the spring of power.
