The Missing Goddess

Entering Vah Rudania

   Link grinned as Yuki finally announced she had plan. Yunbo was completely surprised then smiled "that's amazing goro. How did you even think of one that fast?" Yuki shrugged "I've studied the maps long enough to have a decent idea of the lay out. Now listen because this is the plan." Within twenty minutes Yuki has relayed the plan and Link was amazed. She had really thought this through, yet he knew as they went she would make quick yet subtle changes. Rubbing her back he nodded as Yuki told Yunbo the single for him to move would be a whistle. Once that was done did they decide to start moving. The longer they waited the harder it would be to progress.
   Making their way up the path Link and Yuki noticed the sentry moving towards them. Yuki let out a shrill whistle and Yunbo froze under the rocks just in time. Watching as it moved back up the path did she slowly follow after it, once she made it she singled to Link to follow her. Waiting for the sentry to come back towards both her Link did she whistle once again for Yunbo who quickly made his way towards the two of them. Once he was back with them. Did they wait again and move once the red search light had gone the opposite way. As they got closer towards the canon did Yuki and Link both move. Quickly taking out the enemies that were nearby. Once that was done did Yunbo jump into the canon. Repeating what they had done earlier did they watch as Yunbo flew into one of the lights on Rudania and safety land. "We did it goro." Yuki nodded as she looked at link. He could tell she felt bad making Yunbo literally throw himself at a canon.
    He rubbed her back as they moved forward. A bit further ahead Yuki raised a hand as she singled both to stop. "Yuki?" "What is it goro?" She looked around not answering them as she noticed they had no real way to hide from these ones. Looking up she noticed metal blocks and grinned. "Okay, slight change of plans boys." The two tilted their heads but listened none the less. "Link, how fast can you scale that wall?" Link looked at the wall and narrowed his eyes as he mapped out a safe way to climb. "Pretty fast, 10 minutes or less. Why?" "Because above that wall on the top there are metal cubes, I want you to use magnesis to lift them and drop them on the sentries, from there Yunbo and I can pass through and once you get towards the end you can paraglide down." Link blinked before he nodded. "Alright, I'll go up and clear a path. See you both soon alright?" She nodded and Yunbo looked amazed, Yuki had thought all of that out in less then 5 minutes. "You're amazing Yuki, you had that planned in literally 5 minutes." Yuki looked at Yunbo and shrugged. "It's not that impressive, i just want everyone to get through safely." Link carefully grabbed Yuki's face and made her look at him. "Don't sell yourself short love, you literally were able to map out an entire plan in 20 minutes, and you did the same in ruta. You are amazing. Now let me get going so we can free Rudania." She smiled at him as she nodded in agreement. Just before she could pull away however did Link lean down and slowly kiss her. She returned it for a moment before pulling away. "Be careful, whistle when you've gotten to the second or third." "I will, you both be careful as well. He clapped Yunbo on the back "keep her safe for me Yunbo."
    Yunbo grinned as he nodded "sure will goro." And with that link headed over to the wall. Quickly scaling it he got to the top and used the magnesis rune. Knocking out the first two did he finally whistle to allow Yuki to know that he was at the third one. "Alright, that's the single let's move Yunbo." He nodded and quickly went after Yuki, watching as she gathered what was needed and make her way down the path he also made sure that no monsters were near by. Once they made it to another set did Yuki grimace. Looking up at link who also had a grim look on his face. "Oí! Think you can get over there and kill those two?" He looked down hearing her yell and nodded. "Yeah, I can get over there, and I'll see you in a moment. You two hanging in there?" "We're good, just really annoyed with these things." He chuckled "yeah, I know, let's get a move on." He quickly jumped and glided over to the next wall and climbed up. Repeating what he had done earlier he took out the two sentries and then jumped down using his paraglider to safely land. Once he was down did Yuki run over and hug him. Chuckling he wrapped his arm around her as he kept her against him. "You alright?" She nodded before she pulled back and hit his arm and he winced. "You're such a careless idiot. You literally could have gotten hurt." He rolled his eyes before he looked at Yunbo who quickly looked away. Yuki blinked before she suddenly found herself being crushed against Link and his mouth on hers. With a startled gasp he slid his tongue into her mouth and dug his nails into her back. She quickly broke the kiss and gave him a half hearted glare. "What was that for?"
    He chuckled before he kissed her forehead "you're cute. I love how you're worried about me but you really should relax a bit more." She rolled her eyes before she started walking again. Link sighed "come on Yunbo, I'll have to calm her down later because she's in that I'm going to kick Links ass mood." Yunbo chuckled but realized Link was serious. "Oh wow, uh good luck cause she does seem pretty angry." Link nodded as they ran after her. Only to stop and cringe as they watched her take out not one but two moblins. Link shuddered as he saw the pure look of rage on her face. "Fuck, im really gonna need luck now, she's really angry." Yunbo also shuddered, she had seemed so calm and nice and it was now easy to see she could also have a scary side. "Good luck man, you're gonna need all of it." Link sighed as he ran over to Yuki, attempting to place his hand on her back only for her to slap it away. "Yuki..." "no, I'm not talking to you, we have a job to do and that's final." He frowned, he hated when she was mad, yet he understood at the same time. He was reckless with how he got down, especially since it was such a narrow spot. "Yuki, I'm sorry, how can I make this up to you?"
    She didn't answer him instead she climbed onto the canon and looked at Yunbo. "Come on, I feel bad for making you do this but, we only have two more to hit before we can calm it down long enough to get inside." Yunbo looked at link who was upset that his girlfriend was now ignoring him. With a sigh he jumped into the canon. Once more Yunbo flew through the air and took out a red light which now only left them with one more to destroy. Heading up to the final canon did they once again fire Yunbo through the air. They all watched as Rudania screamed and fell into the lava below. Getting all the way to the top did Yunbo grin. "We did it goro! Alright, now it's up to the both of you. Good luck down there!" Yuki and Link nodded before they both jumped, they both opened their paraglider's and glided down to where Rudania laid motionless.
    Once they landed did Link head over to the slate and activated it fast travel point. Yuki watched him but said nothing. However they both froze as they heard the voice of Daruk. "Well look at that, I knew you two would be here! How's it going little guy? Little lady? You two are still kicking it seems. I guess you're here to free Rudania from Ganon. Well in order to do so you'll need a map. It's located inside of Rudania, that'll give you a layout of what's inside and control of it. Be careful however, Ganons creatures are in here. Once you've activated all the terminals you'll be able to activate the main one. Be sharp you two. Oh, and try to make up okay? You two can't be at odds while doing this. It'll be what does you both in." And with that he vanished. Link looked over at Yuki who had her arms crossed and clearly didn't wanna speak with him. With a reluctant sigh he walked over and grabbed her chin making her look at him. "Yuki, come on, Daruk is right, this is a sure fire way for us to fail. I know I worried you, I should have been more careful, but I'm alright, and I know it doesn't mean much since I know how you are, but I'm sorry. I promise, I'll make it up to you." She raised an eyebrow as she listened to him speak. With a sigh she nodded. "I forgive you, I really don't wanna die in there so yes, I forgive you, however, you are going to make this up to me, and if you're careless I will kick your ass down this mountain. Clear?" He gulped before he smiled at her. "Yes." Giving her a chaste kiss the two turned and headed inside.
