When link woke up it was to an empty bed and he initially felt panic and quickly went downstairs to see Yuki looking at an older map, then at the slate. He let out a sigh of relief as he made his way down the stairs, he hadn't bothered to put on any clothes he was just in his boxers, and Yuki was oddly enough still wearing just his shirt. Placing his hands on her shoulder she looked up and blinked confused as she came out of a daze. "You alright there?" She blinked a few more times before she turned bright red causing link to chuckle. "Didn't see that coming." She wrinkled her nose as she looked back at the maps. "I'm fine, I'm just trying to compare the maps. However this one is old and most of what the slate has is not on this one." She motioned to the older one. "I was trying to see what had changed from 100 years ago." He nodded as he rubbed circles Into her shoulders. "Mm I see, have you eaten and how long have you been up?"
She looked back at him then over at the time and blinked as it read 10 am. "I've been up since 6." His eyes widened "have you eaten?" He asked again. She frowned "I don't think so. I couldn't sleep and I wasn't hungry so yeah, I didn't eat." He sighed before pulling her out of her chair and led her into the kitchen. "Okay new rule. No working unless you've eaten." She blinks before blushing "alright, alright." He leaned forward to kiss her when she turned her head and he sighed "really? I thought we were past this Yuki." "I need to brush my teeth...."he blinked before laughing which made her look at him confused. "You are something else." And before she could speak he was kissing her walking her back into a counter. She took a few moments before she responded only to gasp as her back hit the counter. "Now that wasn't nice." He grinned. "Okay, go clean up, I'll make food." He let her go and watched as she ran out of the kitchen.
She went upstairs and grabbed a change of clothes before heading into the bathroom. Once she had showered and brushed her teeth did she slip on her clean clothes putting links shirt on his bed and then ran downstairs pulling her hair into a messy bun. Link looked up as he finished putting the eggs and bread on the table and laughed. "Really? You couldn't brush your hair?" She shrugged as she sat down. "Pretty sure I lost my hairbrush. That and I think food is more important." He rolled his eyes as he also sat down "I'll fix it when we finish eating." She tilted her head and he groaned "stop doing that." "Doing what?" "Looking cute, like you're teasing me." She blushed and looked away "I'm not, at least not on purpose."
"I know." He smiled as he watched her eat before eating his own food. "Your hairbrush is in my room by the way." She blinked "the hell is it in there for?" "Seems like it got in my bag by accident." She laughed "oh my god I told you to pay attention." He rolled his eyes "finish your food." She giggled but continued to eat her breakfast. "Thank you, it was good." He simply nodded and watched her clean up. "You're welcome. Do you want help?" "Nope." "Why?" "Because I said so. Besides you cooked, you reminded me i needed to eat, and you're gonna take care of my hair." He shrugged. "Because I want to. And I'm not about to sit there and watch my girlfriend starve." She blushed at the term as she started doing the dishes. "Regardless, you can go sit down or something."
Link walked out of the kitchen mumbling to himself about stubborn girlfriends. Yuki couldn't help but giggle as she continued washing the dishes. As she finished that did she start cleaning the kitchen. Link came back into the kitchen this time wearing a pair of shorts but no shirt, figuring Yuki was done with the dishes only to see her cleaning the rest of the kitchen. Leaning against the door frame he crossed his arms and watched her. He took in how she carefully did everything. How she easily moved about the kitchen, looking very much at home while doing so. Yet he could tell, even while she was cleaning she was planning. Strategically planning their next moves, where they should
Go, who they should speak with.
"So, when am I fixing that hair of yours?" The sudden voice snapped her from her thoughts and she blushed. "How long have you been standing there?" He raised an eyebrow as he waited for her to answer his question before he answered hers. "Erm...you can fix it now, I just finished." He nodded as he walked over grabbing her hand and lead her towards the living room. "I was watching basically since you started cleaning." She blushed "why didn't you say something?" "You were thinking, and you looked so comfy, I didn't wanna startle you." He watched as she sat on the sofa facing the door and quickly grabbed the slate as she studied it. "I'm gonna hide that from you." "Why?" He placed a kiss to her neck and she shivered. Carefully letting her hair down did he part it and slowly work on getting out any knots and tangles. "Because you need to relax."
She blinked as he started working on her hair. "I was thinking, maybe we can visit my home town....or well it's ruins. Maybe it can give us some answers. That's why I kept looking at the maps besides the obvious." He nodded "that's a great idea yuki it is. But I also need you to rest, We both need to rest. If I'm right we both have a bad habit of over doing it." Yuki shrugged "maybe, the old map mentions a placed called Akala..didn't Beedle say something about that?" He listened as she hesitated to say the mans name. He chuckled wondering when she would get somewhat use to Beedle. "He did, someone named Robbie lives there. We should probably talk to him." She nodded as he continued fixing her tangled hair. "However, we won't do anything for at least a week, let our bodies recover and at the same time restock and replace weapons."
She frowned however he had a point, she was still partly sore from the last trip. "Alright, but then we go to Atinila." He nodded as he finally finished getting out all the tangles That were in her hair. "That's fine with me. Now, hand over the slate." She blinked before closing out the map and reluctantly handed him back the slate. "No more touching this unless you absolutely need to." She sighed but agreed, it wasn't hers to touch after all. Pulling her knees to her chin she tried to think of something to do. "I'm sorry I took it without asking." He blinked totally thrown off by the sudden apology "why on earth are you sorry?" She didn't look at him. "It belongs to you, or well zelda but it's technically yours. So i should have asked." He blinked again "oh Yuki, no, that's not why I had you give it to me." Again she refused to look at him. "Yuki, you can use it whenever you want, take it when you want, but right now I want you to relax. You work harder then anyone I've met." She sighed as she finally let her knees go and stood up walking over to a bookcase. "Yuki, look at me please?"
With a weak sigh she looked over her shoulder "what?" He frowned, he didn't like when she did this, when she pulled away. "No." She raised an eyebrow. "Stop closing yourself off, stop distancing yourself." She blinked a bit confused until she realized what he was talking about. "Oops. Sorry, I was thinking, and I guess that happens often enough." He groaned. "Okay, Nope, come here." She blinked but slowly walked over to him. "What did I do this time?" He placed his hands on her shoulders and waited for her to look at him. "You didn't do anything." He pulled her back upstairs and she was beyond confused. "Where are we going?" "Upstairs, we are gonna talk to each other like civil people and see if we can't tear down that wall you've built."
Now she was confused "wall?" "Mhm, when you get so lost in your thoughts you tend to push everyone out, myself included." "Oh." She rubbed her arm as he led her Into his room "sit. I'm gonna go clean up that living room and hide all your maps. And then when I'm done I'll come back up and grab you and we can go downstairs like normal people and talk." She blinked as she sat on his bed "but we aren't normal." He rolled his eyes "you know what I meant Yuki." She shrugged as she looked out the window. He closed the door half way before heading back downstairs and started cleaning up the maps and her note books. How she had time to do all of this he didn't know, he didn't even know how she got out of bed without waking him.
Once he finished cleaning and hiding most of her stuff did he head upstairs to see she was now laying upside down watching the door and he laughed "oh my goddess Yuki, you are to much." She shrugged and moved so she was sitting up right once again. He walked over and grabbed her hand before he led her back down the stairs and into their living room. The two easily sat across from each other in a comfortable silence. Once it became to much for Link did he finally speak. "So, what all can you clearly remember? Or if that's still to hard to answer, why do you space out and push me away?" Yuki tapped her chin while she thought. "I can remember parts of Atinila, before it's massacre. I remember there being ruins, I recall bits and pieces of our time together. What i don't recall is some of the people." He nodded "that makes sense. It's been 100 years, and whatever happened during your sleep seems to be playing a key role as to why you can't remember anything. Why you couldn't remember your name."
Yuki nodded. "As for why I push people away when I space out, well that's probably a defensive mechanism." "Explain." "So basically when I think, i focus on that single thought, I plan and calculate, while trying to think of the safest ways. When i push you away, I'm honestly not meaning to. It's because I get so absorbed in what I'm doing I forget people are around me." He nodded "now that makes sense. So you don't do it on purpose." "No." "Good." "Do you recall any battles? Or who gave you that scar?" "Which one, i have multiple." "True, but the one I'm mainly curious about is the one on your stomach, it feels like i should know how you got it, I'm curious about the shoulder as well though. Mainly all of them, but those two are the most faded." She frowned "I don't remember I'm sorry. I've been trying to but nothing seems to bring those memories back."
He sighed "you'll probably get them later, however I don't want you forcing said memories." "I know. Now what about you? What do you know?" "I remember parts of Zelda, becoming her knight, Mipha, and you. I recall when you would keep me in the dark about stuff, and your stubborn personality." She blinked "figures" And with that they both laughed. "I recall you being my girlfriend. What happened between us however a lot is still blank." She sighed "might be that way for a while." "True, but we will get our memories back, and even if we don't, we can always make new ones, together." She gave him a soft smile. "I would like that." He returned her smile before reaching over and and grabbing her hand as he tugged her onto his lap. "Link?" He wrapped a single arm around her and used his other hand to make her look up at him. "You're absolutely beautiful." She blushed and Bit her lip which he was beginning to realize was a nervous habit of hers. He growled softly before he claimed her mouth in a hungry kiss.
Her eyes widened before she relaxed and returned his kiss. Shivering as she felt his hand rub up and down her back. Soft moans slipped past her lips and he slid his tongue into her mouth, wrapping his around her own did be carefully push her backwards onto the sofa and laid on top of her. Tangling her own hands into his dirty blonde hair she wrapped a leg around him, breaking the kiss so they could breath, Link slowly trailed his mouth down her throat and nibbled on it leaving small marks before latching onto her weak spot and bit down hard, it pulled a breathless moan from Yuki and he groaned. He rubbed himself against her covered sex and listened to the whimper that slipped past her lips. "Yuki...." She shivered at the sound of her name and looked down at him. Her breathing was uneven yet he could see she was nervous. So he carefully pulled back and placed one last kiss against her lips. Giving him an apologetic smile he chuckled "no, don't look sorry, and don't be sorry. When we're both ready, and we have more of our memories maybe." She nodded. "However, that won't stop me from making out with you." She laughed "yeah, i thought so." He smiled as he laid down next to her. The two simply talked about anything and everything until Yuki fell asleep in his arms. Smiling as he covered her with a blanket did he get up and go outside. He was gonna get some much needed stuff for the house. And with that he left to go down into the town itself.
