As Link and Yuki slowly made their way back to Gerudo town. He noticed how silent Yuki was. "Hey, you holding up okay?" Yuki looked over at him with a raised eyebrow before she nodded. "Yeah, I'm alright, you doing okay?" "Yeah, I saw how silent you were so I got worried. Think that woman made it back alright?" "Yes, however you should probably hide somewhere and change. We don't need the guards trying to stop you." Link let out a groan as he rolled his eyes but knew she had a point. "Yeah, Yeah. I'll go hide and change." Yuki shrugged her shoulders and watched as he went behind a pillar to quickly change.
While he was otherwise occupied she was able to look at the sky. The battle would soon be coming to an end and they still hadn't found the missing goddess. They still had all this stuff left to do, along with finding the sword that seals darkness. They also had to find Anilya. Shaking her head she looked over just as Link was walking back over to her. "There, can we hurry up? I hate this outfit." Yuki snickered. "I dunno Link, ya look good dressed as a girl." Link shot her a dirty look before laughing. "You are mean." "Tell me something I don't know." Link only laughed as he smiled at her,
"Right, come on." And with that the two continued to walk until they reached the town. Easily gaining entry they quickly headed towards the palace where Riju would be resting. However upon realizing how late it was did Yuki raise a hand and stop him. "Actually, let's wait until tomorrow. It's late and for all we know she's sound asleep." He simply looked over at her and nodded. "Where are we gonna stay?" "We can see if we can't get a room at the inn." The two shared a look before nodding in agreement and turned back towards the in.
"Hello Vai, what can I do for the The two of you tonight?" Yuki smiled as she folded her hands behind her back. "We we're wondering if we could have a room for the night. We didn't realize how late it was when we arrived and realized we can't complete our business until tomorrow." The innkeeper smiled. "Of course you can. It would be wrong of us to turn away two travelers. You two can take the room down the hall to the right. May I get your names." Yuki looked at Link and he felt chills run down his spine. "My names Yukina, and this here is Lilly." As much as Link wanted to gag on the name he knew if he did it would blow his cover. Then Yuki would probably kill him.
"What lovely names, tell me why does your friend not speak for herself?" Yuki bit her tongue before taking on a sorrowful look. "I'm afraid she's mute. We communicate through writing. It was a tragedy when she discovered she could no longer talk." The innkeeper frowned before nodding. "I see, I am sorry for prying. I hope you two have a wonderful night." The two nodded before Yuki paid for the room and led Link away who actually looked like he was about to blow a fuse.
Once the two were behind closed doors did he stare at her. "Really?" Yuki looked at him confused. "You should whisper, we don't want someone catching you talking. And really what?" "Lilly?" Yuki frowned at this. "Oh I'm sorry should I have called you Linkle?" He scowled ya that. "No." "Then deal with it. It's only for a little while." Link sighed before he sat on one of the beds. "I know, I just hate how I can't be me." Yuki smiled softly before she sat down across from him. "I know, I wish you could be just you, but that's not a good idea here. The last Voe who was here was thrown out."
Link nodded before laying back. "I know, and he's a down right creep." Yuki could only agree, the guy who was running around outside was definitely a creep. Especially with the way he stared at both Link and herself. Right, if he tries something just knock him out." He snorted. "Will do. Now get some sleep okay? I love you." Yuki smiled at him as she also laid down. "I love you too. I'll see you in the morning." And with that the two soon fell asleep only to wake early in the morning. Yuki glanced over at Link and smiled as she saw he was still half asleep. But had managed to keep his disguise on. "Come on sleepy head. Let's get this back to Riju."
Link nodded, having reverted back to not talking as the pair gathered up their belongings and left the room. "You two have a good day, we hope we can see you two again." Yuki nodded and Link waved bye before the two finally left the inn. Sharing a single look the pair simply smiled before they finally headed towards the palace. As soon as they were inside a guard greeted them. "Chief Riju is awaiting you two upstairs." Yuki nodded and soon both Link and herself were going up to Riju's room. "You two have returned."
"We have, we've also retrieved your heirloom." Riju smiled as she took it back from Link. "You have my thanks." Both Link and Yuki shared a look and then Riju put on the helm and two sets of eyes widened in shock before they both spaced out.
