When Yuki awoke from her sleep she saw that Link was currently asleep next to her. Carefully she detangled herself from his embrace. Sitting up she rubbed the side of her head, trying to chase away the remainder of her headache, she didn't remember passing out, all she remembered was the way her head had exploded with pain before everything went dark. Standing up from the bed she made her way out the door and down the stairs that she was sure led to where Riju should be sitting. Upon finding her did she stop moving.
Riju felt the moment someone had entered the throne room and looked up with a single raised eyebrow. "Yuki, what's the matter?" Said woman finally moved forward until she was almost eye to eye with the young gerudo chief. "I wanted to know what you and Link spoke of after I blacked out." Riju nodded. "Ah, nothing really, he was worried that you blacked out from a memory." Yuki stiffened as Riju had Indeed called Link a male. "Do not worry Yukina of Atinila. You and Link are honored guests. While voe are typically not allowed in this sacred city we are making an exception considering the two of you are here to calm Naboris." Yuki finally relaxed as she kept an eye on Riju. "That is understandable....you have my thanks." Riju nodded. "May I ask what it was that caused you to suddenly black out?"
Yuki bit her lower lip as she tried to recall why all of a sudden she had felt extremely lightheaded. "I'm not sure, I got really lightheaded, and then everything went black." Riju's eyes widened as she listened to what Yuki had to say. "So it wasn't a memory." "Now I'm not saying that, it felt like one, but before I could grasp it I passed out." Riju went to speak but before she could she bit back a wince as she watched Link appear behind Yuki and slap the back of her head. "What have i told you about forcing those memories to return?" Yuki scowled as she held the back of her head. Turning to the man who was now behind her she jabbed a nail into his chest.
"I wasn't tying to force it dumbass. I felt my head pound with pain long before we even stepped foot inside of the palace." "Then why..." "because I didn't think I would pass out from a headache. Regardless....Riju...can you help us calm naboris long enough to gain access?" Riju sighed before she answered. "Unfortunately I can not. My families precious heirloom was stolen from us by members of the Yiga clan..." Yuki frowned, "perhaps I can retrieve it?" Both Link's and Riju's eyes widen "what do you mean just you?" "Yuki that is a risk I am not comfortable with." Said woman simply shrugged her shoulders. "I'm faster at sneaking, I can get in and clear out any and all enemies which will give link a break and allow him to slip through undetected and retrieve the heirloom."
Both link and Riju frowned at this. They didn't like the idea of this woman risking her life, especially since link had a nagging feeling at the back of his mind. Something that was screaming at him to protect this woman at all costs, it wasn't even because she was his partner or his girlfriend, it was something more, something that made him terrified for her future. Yuki however didn't even seem phased, she was okay with risking her life, link however had to survive on this quest. He had to defeat ganon. He had to save Zelda and find this goddess of Time.
"Why don't we just try my idea." Link scowled "fine, but I'm not happy about this." Yuki grinned and with that the two finally gathered their stuff and took off towards the hide out.
Once they arrived the two easily took care of the outside opponents and headed towards the entrance. "Now I need you to wait roughly 20 minutes, i don't know how many are in there and I would rather you not get hurt." Link simply sighed but nodded as he sat down in the sand, watching as Yuki slipped inside of the building he gripped his sword, he could only hope that she would indeed be alright in the end.
