The Missing Goddess

Waterblight Ganon

     Yuki's eyes widened as the thing shrieked and covered her ears. Link grimaced as he kept his protective stance in front of her. "Be careful of its spear, this is waterblight ganon, and it is what brought me to my demise 100 years ago. It's spear has a long reach so he careful and aim from a distance, when it's down strike it with all you're might!" Yuki groaned she didn't have a bow so now this was going to be risky. "So, now what?" He looked at her before handing her the bow "use this, aim for its eye, i'll deflect his attacks and make sure it doesn't hit you. Once it's stunned I'll attack it with my sword okay?" She nodded "you better be careful, whatever injuries you receive I'll heal." Giving her one last smile did he turn to face the monster.  
     Keeping its attention off of Yuki he jumped around, moving as Yuki aimed the bow. Notching a shock arrow he smirked, so she was gonna see how effective that was first. Watching as she released the arrow it hit just above he creatures eye as it swung out with its spear. Just barely dodging in time. He noticed it getting to close to Yuki and he panicked. Yuki looked over just in time and as if time had slowed down she managed to jump back and aim a second arrow. This time she hit her mark. "Now!" To very different voices yelled and Link unleashed a furry of attacks. Backing up as it started to stand again. Or well float. The two continued this pattern until the monster blasted link into a wall. "Link!" Yuki was panicking. He got hurt because he was protecting her. Notching an arrow she fired at it. It seemed like the creature was expecting this and deflected the blow. Cursing she moved in front of Link.
     "I won't let you touch him!" Aiming again she fired two arrows. One hitting its mark the other hitting the wall. Running forward she slid across the ground and drew her sword, using that momentum she swung the blade into the creatures side before she landed several more attacks. Jumping back as the thing moved and shrieked. The room started filling with water and she panicked. Pulling link away from the wall she held onto him. "Come on, wake up." Link groaned as he slowly came to his senses. "That...hurt." "I know I'm sorry." He looked at her and then at the creature as he realized the room was now full of water. "Well fuck me." She blinked before hitting his head "shush." He glared at her "What?" She raised an eyebrow and he laughed. "We'll discuss this once we finish our job here."
    He nodded and groaned as it made three blocks of ice, yet it was easy to see that it was weaker. Repeating an earlier pattern of Yuki taking out the ice Link was aiming for the eye. Once the creature was stunned did Link finally land the killing blow. With the last blast of its power it sent Yuki flying right back into the wall with a sickening crack. "Yuki!" She groaned as she slid down the wall holding her head. Her entire body was throbbing as link ran over and cradled her. "I'm so sorry i didn't expect it to hurt you." She groaned "it's okay, but I think my heads bleeding." And how right she was. She had a nice size gash on the side of her head and he placed his hand against it. "Oh Yuki."
      "Don't worry about me, I can heal this, just activate that terminal." He didn't listen as he helped her up to her feet and walked over collecting a heart and finally activated the main terminal. "Yesterday i was washed away in a pool of tears. I feared this day would never come, and i would forever be trapped here. However you two have set my spirit free. Now I can play my part in our battle against ganon. I wish you two the best of luck, with your memories and all of this. Here link, this is of no use to me, it's Mipha's Grace."
     It didn't take long before the two vanished and appeared back in the domain and watched as Ruta roared to life. Watching as it settled on a mountain top and aimed at the castle. "Ruta at long last we can be of use to link. Father, I wonder if you are well, I wish I could see you one last time." Link watched as Yuki healed her head and carefully led her up to the throne room again. Stopping only to steal a kiss "I am so glad you're alright." She smiled at him "I'm glad you are, you scared me when you got hurt." He chuckled "yeah, but I'm good now I promise." She nodded and they went to the king. "You're back! Thanks to the two of you and your bravery Vah Ruta is now once again under our control, and all of us are forever in your debt."
     He motioned to a box "here, one of you take this as a symbol of our thanks." Link motioned to Yuki "you open it, you did all of the work after all." She blinked "but you killed it." "And if it wasn't for you I would still one probably be getting shock arrows, or stuck inside of Ruta. So go ahead." Yuki slowly walked over and opened the chest pulling out a lightning scale trident her eyes widened "that once belonged to Mipha. I would like if you took that and cared for it." Yuki swung it for a moment before she placed it at her side holding it straight up. "I'll keep it safe I promise." Sidon walked over and grabbed links hand "thank you, for everything." Link grinned "anything for a friend." Sidon smiled as shook his hand or well arm. Yuki laughed and Sidon crushed her in a hug "you need to stop being so careless." 
     At this link laughed "I'm sure that won't happen but I'll try to keep her safe." Sidon grinned "you better, and i expect to be invited to a wedding in the near future." Yuki blushed and link held her against him as he placed a kiss to her forehead. "You'll be Invited that I can promise." Yuki smiled and laid her head against his chest. Muzu eventually walked over "i hope you two can forgive me for my earlier actions. It seems my previous judgement against you two was wrong." Yuki walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder "i forgave you the second you decided to help." Muzu's eyes widened and he looked away. "You're truly a kind woman with a gentle soul." Link walked over and forgave him. As everyone left Link turned to tell the king what happened. And he looked relieved. "Thank you, I'm sure even now, she's glad she was of help to you Link. You two have a safe trip back home. Rest before you do anything else. And good luck." Link wrapped his arm around Yuki as they left. "I'm gonna finish this shrine and then we can leave." She nodded and he entered the shrine.
     An hour later he was coming out of the shrine and stopped, Yuki wasn't wearing her fighting clothes, or the outfit zelda had made for her, instead she was wearing a long flowing blue skirt, and a matching blue crop top. Her scars were showing but she seemed at ease with herself. She was standing at the bridge watching the water down below. Walking over he placed his hands on her hips and she turned her head to smile at him. "All done?" "Yes." She nodded as she looked back out at the water. "When did you get this?" She blinked "Muzu found it in Mipha's room, apparently she had this one made as a birthday gift for me." He blinked as he realized they were now both 18 and he rubbed her sides. "If I recall right, your birthday passed not to long ago huh?" She laughed "yeah, it's weird since it's not cold yet."
    "That's probably because of what happened during the past 100 years." She nodded as he kissed the side of her neck. "Ready to head home?" "Yes." He wrapped his arm around her waist and teleported then back to their home in Hateno. Picking her up he carried her into the house and sat her on the sofa. "You sit and I'll make us something to eat." She smiled as he walked into the kitchen only to come back a bit later and handed her a plate full of rice and meat. "Eat." She nodded and he sat next to her as they shared the plate. Once finished she took the plate into the kitchen and washed it before heading upstairs to go to bed. But she didn't head to her room she went right to links which surprised him. "Yuki?" She looked at him as she stole one of his green shirts. "Yes?" "What are you doing?" She bit her lip and he groaned. "I'm stealing your shirt and....um...." she rubbed her arm as she looked to the ground "i wanted to cuddle." He blinked as she mumbled the last part but smiled. "Can you say that again?" She hesitated but looked at him "can....we cuddle?" He smiled softly "of course, now go change and get yourself ready for bed." She went to her room and changed. When she was done she went back to his room and blushed, Link was only in a pair of boxers and was putting the rest of his stuff on the nightstand before he turned to smile at her. Sitting down he motioned for her to join him. Slowly she walked over to him and stopped as she was in front of him. "Scoot over." He laughed as he moved and pulled her into the bed, laying down he wrapped an arm around her as he kept her against his chest. Leaning down he gave her slow and lazy kiss. One which she easily returned before pulling back to snuggle against him. "Sleep well Yuki." She hummed and it wasn't long before both were sound asleep in his bed.
