Apparently someone overheard her and chuckled "you're lost too?" She looked over and blinked. In front of her was a man who looked almost familiar, yet she didn't understand why. She felt herself blush at having been caught talking to herself "sorry." He laughed his blue eyes lightening as he carefully walked over and held out his hand "here let me help you." Carefully she took his hand and he noticed a ring. It was simple and silver and for a moment he frowned, was she married? "Sorry to ask but are you married?" That baffled her. "I'm sorry what?" "You have ring on...oh wait no it's a promise ring." Yuki blinked she had no idea how she was just noticing it. "I didn't even see that...." he blinked as he realized she was telling the truth. "You...do you know anything?" She sighed "nope, however I think my name is Yuki."
He helped her down now confused "you think? You don't know?" She shook her head sadly "I woke up with no memory." Link frowned "oh sorry my names Link." She nodded as she stored that away in the back of her mind. "Do you know who can help?" He tapped his chin "actually I might, but first, what do you mean you woke up with no memory?" Yuki sighed as she told him about the chamber and a voice kept hearing, telling her how long she had been asleep and the name she was being called by. "You hear her to?!"
Yuki backed away as he yelled but was startled to know he heard the voice. "Yes, do you?" He nodded suddenly looking excited "you must be her!" Yuki frowned wondering if this man was sane. "Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, but the voice you're hearing is princess Zelda. Do you know her?" Yuki blinked looking absolutely confused "huh?" His eyes widened as he realized she literally had no memory. "How did you know to come here or where to even find this place with no memory." So she told him about the man from Hateno and he frowned, he didn't like how she had been terrified of a man holding a weapon out towards her. "I'm sorry." She shrugged and said nothing. "However, if zelda told you to come here, then you're the girl she said that would be waiting for me here."
She blinked yet decided to trust him. "So where to?" "See that house up there?" She nodded. "We need to go there. Someone named impa can help us." She sighed, and figured it couldn't hurt to check. So she agreed to go with Link who honestly looked ecstatic. "Oh! We should get you some better clothes when we finish." She blinked and was quickly agreeing. Link led Kiro to where his horse was and Yuki took out two apples and fed them each one. "Huh?" She blinked "they're hungry..." he blinked and then smiled "how did you catch him?" She simply told him and he was amazed at he remembered how many times he failed. "Yeah, you're a natural."
She rolled her eyes but followed him to the house. Two men tried stopping them but then their eyes widened as they saw the Sheikah Slate on links hip and then took in the woman next to him. "Master Link! Lady Yuki! Please forgive us. Feel free to head inside and see Lady impa." Yuki blinked and Link shrugged as he led her up the stairs, checking occasionally to make sure she was okay. As they neared the door were they greeted by another person, this one clearly female. "Ah! He....hello...." her eyes widened as she must of recognized them "oh! Master Link and Lady Yuki! You've returned! Quickly head inside...my grandma is waiting for you."
Yuki inwardly groaned at the title "just...Yuki." The girl looked confused. "Just call me Yuki, none of that lady stuff please." That's when she realized what Yuki had been trying to say. "Oh! My apologies. My name is p....paya. I got the name because of the birthmark i have that's in the shape of one." "Really?" It was link who spoke, Yuki however had a headache from all of this. "Link." "Oh! Right." And with that he pulled Yuki Inside. Once they closed the door did they see an elderly woman sitting there who suddenly looked up and seemed extremely hopeful. "Well aren't you two a sight for sore eyes. But why do you both look so confused? Tell me don't you remember me? I'm impa, we all fought along side each other 100 years ago." Neither one could recall this and shared a frown.
"I see, memory loss." She sighed. "I have a message from princess Zelda, but I will only tell you when you are ready to listen. However, can either of you remember anything? Anything at all." "I can remember bits and pieces, mainly just of where I am, and who i am. Yuki however..." "I remember absolutely nothing." Impa's eyes almost popped out of her head at hearing this. "Oh no." Yuki sighed. "Can link and I talk before we agree to anything?" "Of course, come back when you are ready." And with that the two left heading towards an inn. Yuki went to pull out her money but he stopped her. "I got it, i saved up quite a bit."
Slowly she put her money away and watched as he got them a room with two beds. Once they dropped off their weapons and other items did he grab her by the hand and led her back out of the inn. It was such a shock that she yanked herself away and almost fell if it wasn't for the fact Link had caught her. "Careful! Are you hurt?" She blinked "no, but um...can you not grab me like that?" He blinked confused "huh?" "Can you not grab my hand without warning." "Oh! Sorry, i wasn't even thinking." She sighed as she headed towards an armory shop, she really just wanted new clothes. As they went inside Yuki looked over at the outfit that looked similar to what the Sheikah wore. Asking how much it was she bought just the shirt and pants. She wasn't aware Link had bought her the mask as she was actually short a bit.
The woman smiled as she watched them "you two are such a cute couple!" Yuki's eyes widened "couple? No! It's not like that." Even Link was shocked at the sudden compliment. "Oh, I thought you were. Anyway you can go back there and change out of those things you call clothes." Yuki shrugged and went to change. Once she finished and came out did the lady quickly take away the ruined clothes "I'll dispose of these." Yuki blinked but truly didn't care. As her and Link went to leave did he hand her over what he bought her "huh?" "It's the mask and hair piece, I bought it for you." She smiled as she took it "thank you." And with that she pinned up her long black hair and put on the scarf not the mask though. She didn't need it. Not yet anyway.
"Anyway. What are we going to do?" Yuki frowned as she taped her chin thinking of what they could do. Yet she wasn't aware that some of her hair had fallen from its bindings and fell around her face framing it beautifully. Something about her was oddly familiar yet he didn't know why. "I want to do it. I want to see what impa has to say." Link nodded in agreement since he himself wanted to know as well. "Alright, well let's go and tell her." She gave him a gentle smile.
Slowly he reached for her hand and she watched him with cautious grey eyes. Slowly he linked their fingers together and pulled her gently in the direction of impa's. The two went inside just as it started pouring. "Well that almost got ugly." Yuki giggled neither aware of the fact that impa was watching them with a smile. Even with memory loss, they were one amazing pair. She couldn't wait till they remembered they were once a couple. "Have you two decided?" Both looked over then at each other. "We have." If was Link who spoke since Yuki chose to stay silent. "And?" "We'll do it. We want to know what zelda said."'
"Excellent! Sit down while i tell you a story first." The two shrugged and sat down next to each other on the floor. Link was a bit closer to the back and impa realized he was subconsciously protecting Yuki's back while she handled the front. "Alright, it all started 10,000 years ago." By the time the story was over Yuki's head was ready to explode and Link gently rubbed her back in a silent apology and a form of comfort. "Free the divine beasts! Find the goddess of time and save Hyrule! That was Zelda's final message to you both. Yuki was groaning as she rubbed her forehead, trying to chase away the now throbbing pain. "The question is will you two do it?" "We will." Yuki nodded and impa smiled "even with no memories you two still wish to do this. That is bravery."
She suddenly had a far away look in her eyes, when you two recover your first memories, come back to me. I'll have something for you. So my advice is head out to Hateno Village. Do you need directions?" Link went to speak but Yuki stopped him. "No." "No?" "No, I was there, I know the way. It's because of them I was able to find this place." Impa nodded and smiled. "Alright have a safe trip. And goodnight." The two bid her a goodnight and left for the inn. The innkeeper looked up and saw it was just them and went back to napping making Yuki frown. That had to be bad for business. Link rolled his eyes as he led Yuki fo their room. Once inside did she remove the chopsticks and let her long hair flow Down her back stopping at the very top of her thighs "Can I brush it?"
Yuki looked at him and shrugged "sure, I don't see why not, it probably needs to be washed though." He shrugged as he made her sit down and slowly ran the brush through her long black locks. There was definitely a few tangles but other then that it felt like silk and looked extremely clean. "There, all done." She smiled and then moved to her own bed and laid down after removing her shoes. "We'll set out around 10 tomorrow okay?" She nodded and yawned as she closed her eyes "Alright." "And we'll get you a bow and another sword." She hummed as he spoke. Soon enough she was asleep and Link couldn't help but watch her. She looked so beautiful and incredibly peaceful.
He yawned and laid down closing his eyes. Yet he was curious as to whom she was promised too. Figuring he would find out eventually did he to finally fall into a deep sleep.
