When Yuki woke up it was completely dark outside, and Link was still next to her. However he wasn't holding her like he was previously, in fact it looked like she had managed to roll away again. Slowly she sat up and found her discarded clothes before she changed them out for clean ones and the new pair of tights she had received. Looking back over at Link she smiled faintly before she brushed his hair out of his face. He looked so peaceful, you would have never thought that the weight of the world would be on his shoulders. She laid back down and tried to sleep again only to fail miserably. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. She was still tired, yet for some unknown reason she couldn't sleep. Normally she would wake Link and ask to snuggle back against him, or he would just pull her back to him. But this time she didn't, for some reason the idea of waking him didn't sit well with her. So with a reluctant sigh she went to get out of the bed only to be yanked back down. "Ha?"
Link had felt it the second she moved, he felt the way the bed dipped, so he figured she was putting clothes back on. Trying to relax and allow sleep to claim him once again did he feel her shifting, a sigh slipped past his lips as she brushed the hair out of his face, but he noticed she couldn't get comfy. He waited for her to attempt to wake him. Not that she even had to, he was already awake the second she moved, he waited to see what she would do but kept his eyes closed. When he felt her move yet again and heard her sigh did he realize she was probably gonna try to leave the room. So without thinking he reached out and grabbed her wrist quickly pulling her back into the bed. Yuki blinked completely confused as her grey eyes met his blue ones and she blushed. "Sorry, did I wake you?" "Mmm I woke the first time you moved, are you having nightmares again?" As he spoke he coiled his arm back around her waist and pulled her close to him. "Yeah. They don't make much sense, I can recall some of it, some being the masacre, some of Gui, losing you. Other times I can't remember anything, and when I wake all I see is blood on my hands."
He frowned as he placed his forehead against hers. "You are fine, I'm fine, none of what happened in the past is your fault, you forgetting stuff, isn't your fault, as for the blood, there is no blood. No blood stains those hands. And if yours are blood stained then mine are as well." She blinked as he spoke before she gave him a very weak smile "thank you Link." "You're welcome, but you don't gotta thank me. Just try to sleep a bit longer okay? When we wake, hopefully it'll be morning, and then we can find the elder and hopefully find a way to calm down the divine beast here." She nodded and with a yawn she snuggled against him, laying her head on his shoulder she closed her eyes. He didn't even wait, he just wrapped his arm around her, placing a protective hand along her back he rubbed soothing circles into it. It wasn't long before Yuki finally fell asleep in his arms and he smiled before he himself also finally fell back asleep.
When Yuki woke it was finally morning and like the last time she woke Link was still asleep, however this time she was still protectively wrapped in his embrace and she smiled. If they didn't have a job to do she would have just been content to lay there and wait for him to wake up. However they did have a job to do and they had an elder to track down. So with a heavy sigh she tried to shake link awake. "Link, wake up, come on we have to go find the Goron elder and see what we can't find out about Rudania." He grumbled in his sleep as he tried to pull Yuki back down. Yuki sighed as she detangled his arms from herself and shook him. "Link, wake up." Again he ignored her in favor of sleeping just a bit longer. Yuki frowned as she crossed her arms. She had no idea how to wake him. She bit her lower lip as she tried to think of a way to wake him, one that would be effective. Leaning down she placed gentle kisses along his jaw before she moved to where his ear was, deciding to test a theory she gently bit the top of his ear and he moaned in his sleep. She smirked as she trailed her mouth down to his throat and started biting. It wasn't long before she had left him with two hickies and he just moaned.
Realizing that wasn't doing much she giggles before she moved back to his ear. She now knew the perfect way to wake him. "Link, wake up, I'm wet and I really, really want you." And before she could even move she found herself on her back with Link now on top of her. She giggled realizing he was awake and smiled. "Good, you're awake now you can get up and put your armor on so we can go find this Elder." He growled as he realized she tricked him awake. "That wasn't nice Yuki." She shivered "I told you, I don't play nice." He raised an eyebrow "I don't either." And with that he leaned down and captured her mouth in a harsh kiss. She reached up and tangled her fingers into his hair and he bit her lower lip before they parted for air. "I'm sorry i tricked you, but you gotta get up. We have work to do, and the faster we get this done, the faster you and I can eventually go home."
With a reluctant sigh he sat up and went to change. "Yeah, yeah, I know. I just really wish we could relax more, i understand that what we need to do is important but we also need to sit down and realize we need rest as well. We aren't machines, we need rest like anyone else." "I know Link." He looked at her and sighed. "Honestly, we have most of our memories back, well I do anyway, I'm sure you're pretty close to having your memories back as well. But I'm serious, Yuki we need some time to actually sit down and relax, just relax, no writing about other places, no looking at maps. Just us. Hell we can even go on a walk." Yuki smiled as she listened to the way Link spoke. "That sounds nice, let's finish up here and a few more things, then I promise we can go home and have some us time okay?" He looked over as he finished getting dressed and smiled. "Sounds good to me. You ready to go love?" She nodded and stood up. Reaching out he grabbed her hand and the two left the inn, thanking the inn keeper for letting them stay the two headed out to find the Goron Elder.
It didn't take them long to figure out the town was a simple path, everywhere lead to the same spot, it just broke off into different paths. Link looked ahead as he held Yuki's hand and noticed a Goron who looked older then the rest standing outside of a home. "I think I found the elder." Yuki looked over and smiled as he said that. "That's great. We should go speak with him." Humming in agreement the two walked over. As they asked him what was going on and he told them about Rudania going on a rampage. Yuki noticed he kept holding his back and frowned "back pain?" "Yes it gets pretty bad, Yunbo was suppose to be back with my medicine by now but he's probably off somewhere slacking. If you two could find him that would be much appreciated." Yuki looked at link and he nodded. "Where would be probably be?" "At the Abandoned North Mine. It's right behind the village, you two be careful if you head down that way." Link and Yuki nodded before they left for the mine.
It took them less then an hour to locate the area and Yuki frowned. "Let me see that slate, I'm gonna use the scope." He nodded as he handed her the slate. Activating the scope feature she looked around taking in some ways they could get across, while it had monsters, the path with the air drafts would be faster. Yuki continued to look around taking in some of the canons before she spotted what appeared to be a home. Frowning she noticed the entrance was sealed shut. "Link, I think Yunbo might be in there." He looked to where she pointed as he put away the slate. "Probably, we'll check it out. However how are we gonna open it?" Yuki frowned before she snapped her fingers and ran a quick plan by him. "So, we'll try the canons, and if you have to you'll take out the monsters?" "Yep, sound good to you?" "Mhmm, I trust you, and so far your plans usually work." She laughed "alright, let's go get him." Roughly two hours later they had cleared out the area and blasted open the house like structure.
The pair headed inside only to see yunbo was shaking like a leaf with a barrier like structure around him. Once he realized Link and Yuki weren't monsters, and that they weren't gonna hurt him did he relax. Yuki asked him what had happened and he told her about how Rudania had one of her rampaging fits and blocked him inside. Yuki frowned "you should head back, the elder is waiting for you to bring him the medicine." Yunbo's eyes widened before he quickly apologized and ran off towards the town. Link and Yuki chuckled before they themselves left. It took a bit longer since Link was making sure they didn't miss anything along the way. As they got back they spoke to the elder who told them that Yunbo had finally given him the medicine. "So how can i repay you two?" "No, you don't have to, we wanted to help." The Goron smiled before he laughed. "You're something else alright, most people would demand a reward." Yuki frowned she didn't believe in demanding anything. "Anyway, while Yunbo got me the medicine it seems it was all for nothing." "Why?" He sighed before he told them his back was worse then it previously was and Yuki frowned. "Link and I can help stop Rudania." The second she said that the elder almost laughed, until he saw how serious she was. "The only person I know who could control that beast was our champion, his name was Daruk."
