chapter 26

OWENS POV
Amelia was sleeping and Arizona brought the kids in. Meredith had gotten here a few hours ago and her and Derek went to get something to eat.
"Both look very healthy," Arizona smiled, "congratulations."
"Thank you so much," I smiled and hugged her.
"Of course! Anything for you guys!" She said. I smiled down at my two boys, they were adorable. They had their names written on their hats which was so cute. I picked up Lucas first and held him. I kissed his little head and started crying. I was so happy. I put back in his little crib and picked up Ethan. I kissed his head too and smiled at both of them.
"Hey little guys," I said softly so I wouldn't wake Amelia, "It's daddy."
"Owen?" Amelia said groggily. I put Ethan back down and walked over to Amelia.
"Hey," I said softly. Her eyes fluttered opened and she smiled at me.
"Are the kids in here?" She asked.
"Yup," I said and pointed over to them.
"Oh my god," she said and started crying. I picked up Lucas and placed her in her arms.
"Oh my gosh hi baby," she said, "I'm mommy, Owen can I hold Ethan too?"
"Of course," I said. Ethan had clung to me which was so cute. I kissed his head and placed him in Amelias arms. I snapped a few photos of her with them.
"They have your eyes," she said and looked at me.
"They have your nose," I said.
"My nose?" She chuckled.
"Yeah," I said, "it's little and cute."
"Okay," she chuckled. I kissed her head.
"Do you want to hold them now?" She asked.
"Yes," I said. She moved over and I picked them both up and they laid on my chest. She took a cute photo of me and we just both watched them lay there.
"They're so cute," Amelia said.
"I know," I smiled.

The babies were both sleeping and Amelia was still resting. She rolled over and looked at me.
"Hey I gotta pee," she chuckled, "help me up?" I chuckled and walked over to her and she grabbed both of my hands and I helped her up.
"Oh shit my hips hurts," she chuckled.
"Hey no cursing in front of the kids," I said.
"You did not just push two children out of your vagina," she said, "I'll try not to curse."
"Fair enough," I chuckled. She went and peed and she came back out and I wrapped my arms around her.
"I'm so happy," she said, "look at them they're so cute."
"They are," I smiled.
"God I'm so tired," she yawned.
"Oh wow you only slept for 8 hours," I chuckled.
"Eh," she yawned. Arizona came in and smiled at us.
"Hey you're supposed to be resting," she said to Amelia.
"And you know I don't follow rules," Amelia chuckled.
"You got that one right," I said. She wrapped my arms around my waist and nuzzled into me. Arizona left and Lucas started crying. Amelia looked up at me and chuckled.
"I got it," she said and picked up Lucas and cradled him.
"Hey little guy," she said. I smiled at my wife to be with our precious children. There was a knock at the door and it was probably our families. Amelia had Lucas in her arms and she opened the door and it was my mom, Jake, her mom, and Megan.
"Hi," Amelia said cutely.
"Awe oh my gosh," Megan said and looked at Lucas.
"Okay guys this is Lucas," Amelia said, "and Owen has Ethan over there."
"Can I hold one of them?" Megan asked.
"Of course," Amelia said and carefully placed Lucas in her arms. Amelias mom started talking to her and my mom and Jake came over to me and Ethan.
"He has your eyes," my mom said. I felt Amelia wrap her arms around my waist.
"He also has Amelias nose," My mom chuckled.
"What does that even mean," Amelia chuckled and nuzzled into my side.
"You're nose is cute," I said and kissed her head. My mom smiled at us and the door opened again.
AMELIAS POV
Derek, Meredith, Kathleen, and Jackson came in this time. I loved having our families here and they were so cute with the kids. I ran over to Kathleen and hugged her and then hugged Jackson. A few minutes later Liz came. We spent the afternoon with the babies until Arizona had to take them for a few more tests.

Our families left and I was still technically a patient in the hospital and can leave tomorrow morning so we were spending the night. It was sorta late and Owen was lying next to me.
"You look tired," I said.
"I had two flights today," he chuckled.
"And I pushed two kids out today," I chuckled.
"Mhm," He said, "two amazing kids." There was a knock at the door and I looked down at Owen. I kissed his head and got up and opened the door and it was Nancy.
"Oh my god Nancy?" I said. I noticed behind her was a man that must have been her husband and two gorgeous girls at her sides.
"I was in the neighborhood," she said, "and this is my husband Logan, and my two daughters, Sophie and Anna." I hugged her and introduced myself and Owen and Ethan and Lucas.
"I haven't seen you in so long you look great," she said.
"You too," I said.
"And girls, this is your Aunt Amelia," she smiled. I smiled down at them and then looked at my boys, and I love my perfect family.
