Valentine's Day!

Oh! how I hate this fucking day! It's the one day of the year where you can be as cliche and cheesy as possible and nobody is gonna say shit about it. It's filled with fake happiness and unfortunately is the main reason why so many people are born is November, and that is a fact ladies and gentleman!

Also! That is why I decided to spend it completely alone until I had the honor of Vicky barging into my room, which caused my half conscious body to jump, she started yelling and woke me up, "Crawl out of your hole! Your parents are gone! We're gonna get wasted with Emily cause we are single and happy! Oh and we invited Bruce, Lee and Adam and no not your Adam, the one from the park! So hurry up!"

Great. Last thing I wanted was to get trashed and pour my feelings out because I'm alone and nobody loves me, but to be honest I think it was better than locking myself in a room and contemplating on what is wrong with me.

I walked down the stairs in my pajamas and to my surprise Bruce was already there sitting in my living room sipping on a cup of Malibu with Emily and Vicky, nothing better than drinking first thing in the morning.

"Good morning Lou" greeted me Bruce, "Dont you think that you should put on a little more of clothing, perhaps pants?" He added, that was when I noticed that I was only wearing underwear and a really oversized shirt that I stole from my uncle. It was like 10 am and I really couldn't care less about how I looked since I just woke up, "Suck a dick!" I responded rudely as I dragged myself to the kitchen to make myself my usual cup of tea to wake me up. Definitely refreshing! It's like, people say that people are 3/4 made of water while I think I'm 3/4 tea because that shit is life!

Emily insisted on me eating breakfast but to be honest I never really liked eating breakfast, I dont know why I just never had the appetite.

I sat on one of the couches next to Bruce holding my steamy tea and now enjoying the conversation with everybody. "Lee said he will come with Adam once they wake up because they're lazy and also!" Started Bruce as he took another sip of his mix, "I got back with my girlfriend..." he said proudly, I almost choked on my tea; I put it down on the table as I had to take his drink out of his hand and chugged it to the bottom, "You what?!" I questioned since I knew what happened between them but it was kinda to be expected since before they broke up, they dated for like 5 years, you kinda get attached to that person and 'you can't fake that sort of passion!' As Isai would say.

"That's actually awesome I'm so proud of you!" Exclaimed Vicky, she always supported him and the fact that they used to hook up back in December got them really close. Of course, we congratulated him and I was really happy for him obviously! But I was concerned about him because even his mom told me that he took it really badly when they broke up for the first time.

We got drunk super quickly, I finished my tea and had a lot of shots and mixes. I went to get dressed quickly since the rest was supposed to come soon and I didn't want to be half naked in front of them. At one point Vicky and I were sliding on my floor for some reason (we still do the current day didn't figure out why) soon Adam and Lee joined us and we were smoking outside. Until I got the amazing idea of going to my pool and jump from the roof to the water.

Middle of February, water- freezing cold but the pool was heated and one moron that decides to jump into the water from the roof. At least the snow was all gone now and the weather was getting warmer but still. Who does that?! That's why I shouldn't be drinking.

I stood at the edge of the roof from my house in my swimsuit as my teeth were chattering, I knew it was a bad idea but I love adrenaline and risk. Everybody else stood at the bottom and watched me with great precision. "Louise I swear if you die I'm gonna kill you!" Yelled Emily, Bruce looked at her weirdly and commented "Yeah that doesn't really make sense..." "Shut up Bruce!" She growled, I kept on looking at the bottom of the pool as I kept on imagining the fall. I was scared obviously, but I think I was more cold than scared. My heart was pounding and my legs were shaking, I couldn't tell if it was from the cold or nervousness.

At that moment I heard Lee, "You gotta set your mind to it! If you say no, then you won't do it!" I chickened out, "Okay fuck that I'm going down!" I said, "PUSSY!" He yelled and I came back up and commented, "Shut up! I have a pussy okay?" And then I heard everyone laugh.

I took a last glimpse at the sky and my friends as my feet pushed the edge and my body flew forward. I felt as if I was flying for a split second until I felt the gravity pull me down. The rush of blood in my veins made my heart pound in excitement. The pressure of the cold wind against my body as I kept on falling down. The water began getting closer and closer until I hit it and my body was dragged underneath the surface. It was warm. The heat embraced my almost frozen body and I felt alive again. I swam back up and took a deep breath. Everybody was screaming in excitement and recording it on their phones. I was proud, I cheered and clapped my hands as I slowly swam to the edge of the pool to get out. I think I sobered up...

Bruce handed me a towel and I wrapped myself in it as I shivered and breathed heavily. "Such a fucking badass..." he said and I sent him a happy grin. I decided I had to drink more and that didn't really go as well as I planned since I began ranting about Jay and then I felt horrible. I shook it off though and went upstairs to rest a little bit only to be woken up by Emily, she told me that they ordered a cab because we are going to Vicky's place. I told her that I will pass since I was pretty tired and a little bit hungover from the amount of booze that I drank. We were drinking since 10 a.m till 6 p.m. just imagine how drunk all of us were.

I will admit, it was an amazing day. I wanna repeat it.
