24th September 2017

He walked in front of the class and read his crumbled paper...

" I think everything in life is art. What you do. How you dress. The way you love someone, and how you talk. Your smile and your personality. What you believe in and your dreams. The way you drink your tea. How you decorate your room. How your writing looks and how you feel. You are art. "

He raised his eyes and met with mine then hid away in his hood. However, my eyes did not leave him for a second. I wanted to know who he was relating to. " Thank you Isaiah, that was truly inspiring. Please take a seat." The boy stormed towards his desk and sat down. I tapped his shoulder to get his attention, he turned around and sent both me and Jane an annoyed look. " I really liked it, can you tell us who it was about?" Asked Jane. Isaiah turned his full body to face us and took a deep breath.

" It was related to a girl that meant a world to me." " What was her name?" She asked again, " Alice." Replied Isaiah. " I'm Jane and this is Lou. Nice to mee-" " I know who you guys are." Jane got cut off by him, I looked at him confused " How do you know?" I asked, the boy chuckled and looked at me " I'm not deaf nor blind, I see and hear people talk. Besides it's a small school, I know everyone around here." He answered confidently, " But yeah, it's nice to meet you both."

And that's how it all began, well not really cause it was all different in real life but it's a book so obviously there has to be a twist to the story. However, this is how Jane and I met a boy that made us feel complete. We are always seen together, it's like the fucking power puff girls except for the fact that Isaiah is a guy but we love him so much and can't imagine our lives without him. Let's get back to the story though.

02nd October, 2017

This is why I love America. The non stop rain in fall and cold wind. The three of us walked outside on the pouring rain, technically I did because the two of them didn't want to get drenched. " Lou! Hold on! I'm taking out my umbrella!" Yelled Isaiah, I was already out in the rain to give a damn about what he's doing. I stood in the middle of the quad; stretched out my arms, looked up at the sky, closed my eyes and embraced the cold rain hitting my fragile skin. I was overtaken by the idea of the rain washing away my pain and thoughts. " I swear this girl needs some fucking help." Laughed Jane as she walked with Isaiah under their umbrella. My clothes began feeling heavy and my hair was dripping with water but I couldn't care less. I felt free. It's like I was now part of the rain.

I sensed them behind me and Isaiah put a hand on my shoulder. " Come on, let's go before you get sick." He said and I nodded as I followed them to cafeteria to have lunch. We sat in our table and barely understood what we were talking about since the cafeteria was filled with all the other students minding their own business and enjoying with their friends. I looked out of the window and to my surprise I saw Jay. He sat all alone on the stairs and let the water drip down his face. I wanted to go and ask if everything is OK but I was stopped by Isaiah.

"Don't waste your time man, it's not worth it." He said, I turned to him and gave him a confused look. " What do you mean?" I asked, "That guy. Has a lot behind his ears and it will be best for you if you let him be and forget he exists." He added. The boy took a bite out of his apple and rested his elbows on the white table while looking down at Jay. "Tell me" I added, Isaiah raised his eyebrow and pointed at a group of teenagers that sat not so far from us.

"You see them?" I looked behind me to get a better look at the group. "Yeah! They are his best friends, you can call them a gang or some shit, I don't really care but I've been in this school for far too long and I've seen and heard a lot about them. Basically, they- including Jay- are kind of the media of the school. They know and will spread everything that gets in their ears not to mention that they will actually beat you up for no reason. A typical jock group I could say. I don't know about Jay though but since he hangs out with them all the time then he might as well be like them. Jay to start of, is kind of a passive member but he recently broke up with his girlfriend and I think he's taking it hard so that's why he's alone and besides. That guy got into shit load of trouble for smoking and apparently doing drugs in school so I don't really know if you should even bother being friends with him. Like, I'm not trying to push you away or anything like that but since you're new and I care about you then take my advice and leave the guy alone." Isaiah finished his sentence and took another bite of his apple.

I looked outside again just to see that he's gone until I saw the door open and he entered the cafeteria. His wet dyed hair covered his eyes as he made his way to the table. The boy was immediately greeted by his friends and some girls begun leaning and literally climbing all over him. He took his hood off and a smile crept on his face. It was the kind of smile that hid so much pain behind it. I don't know why I was still looking at him, I must've looked like a stalker. " See what I'm talking about? He's gonna break your heart and if he won't do it, then his 'girlfriends' will break your face. So just stay lowkey."

To be completely honest, I don't know if I was going to listen to his advice. I wanted to learn and find out myself so I decided to give it time and get to know him more.

Rest of the day flew by quickly, I got home and texted Jay.

L- Hey! How's it going?
J- Yo, nothing much to be honest. Just hell lotta homework lmao
L- Oh cool. I've seen you looking pretty down today, is everything ok?
J- Yeah I'm fine just really tired
Thanks though ;)
L- No worries!

That was when I remembered that my sister was having a party by the end of the month for her 18th so I made a risky move.

L- My sister is having her bday party on 27th of October. Would you like to come?
J- Ay! Seems cool. But shit! I don't know man... There is this another party that is going to happen on 27th so I might not make it. I will see though...
L- Aight cool just lemme know.

And that's technically it. He've seen my message and didn't reply. He always does that anyway, I'm probably annoying him or he's really busy. I want him to come though, like that would be really cool to see him and get to know him outside of school. Why do I even care so much?
