We're back to the usual cycle, wake up, go to school and miraculously survive those 7-8 hours of complete nonsense that 75% of it won't be useful in your future. I honestly don't know how all people my age do that and SOMEHOW make it to the adulthood because lemme tell you one thing... I'M OFFICIALLY DONE!

Despite all that nonsense today was going to be a good day. Bruce and Jay were going to come over with their mom for a sort of 'family dinner' with my parents. Not because my parents are overprotective and want to know who I'm friends with and they want to know their entire family but because I usually talk a lot about them and their mom whenever I'm with my parents and they just wanted to meet her and 'make more friends' I guess.

As I was saying though, today was going to be a good day. Lucky for me, Jay was going to come back home with me after I was done with school and later in the evening Bruce and their mom would join. Which meant, some alone time with Jay. Yes, as creepy as it sounds I was REALLY excited to just be alone with him. Mostly because whenever we're alone together, he's super funny and I can open up to him, yeah I was looking forward to that and maybe hoping for something else to happen- if you guys know what I mean.

"Are you excited?" Asked me Jane as I was walking her to the bus with Mike, "Yeah DUH! Just kind of nervous though..." I replied, " Just please for the love of God, do not! Do anything stupid. Get him in the cuddly mood and maybe then make a move but don't fuck him!" Added Mike, "No shit Mike! I'll just throw myself onto him and beg him to kiss me." "Yeah it seems like something your obsessive ass would do." "Shut up!" I hugged Jane for goodbye, "You'll be fine Lou, but yeah don't do stupid stuff, don't forget how it ended the last time." She advised me, I immediately got a flashback to December 19th and shivered, "Yeah! Don't worry I won't do the same mistake again..." I smiled and let her leave for her bus. "Let's just hope you won't." Mike mocked me, "You're not being very helpful you know?" I shot back at him, "What?! I just don't want you to end up being a mess again." He finished as he walked me to the school gate. I thanked him; gave him a hug; turned around and walked towards the bus stop where I usually catch cabs back home. Jay was already waiting there for me- quite surprising since he always takes his sweet time with his friends but not today.

I felt my heart pound in my chest and make its way up my throat, I swallowed harshly and sighed loudly to calm myself down.

"Hello Louise." The boy greeted me, I hated when people called me by my actual name and as much as I told him not to do that; he continued because he knew it ticked me off. I sent him an eye roll followed by a smile and hugged him for hello. It didn't take us long to catch a cab back and for most of the ride we just stayed silent or the boy kept on repeating song lyrics and playfully grabbing my leg to catch my attention.

I just felt more nervous, every time he touched me I felt an electric current flow through my veins all the way to my cheeks- heating them up. I tried my best to keep my cool but that goddamn smile HAD to creep on my face and prove him that he has my full attention. I let out a giggle and continued to observe him as he kept on making a fool out of himself.

Once we reached my house I dropped my school bag on the floor and took some clothes to change. "Lou, can I ask you a question?" Asked Jay, I turned around making a quick humming noise, the boy looked serious, he placed his hand on my shoulder even though he knew I disliked it ever since Max hurt me but I trusted him so I let him carry on. I began getting nervous since his face just got more serious. At that point a smile appeared on his face and he tilted his head to the side, "Can I have orange juice?" He questioned, why did I think it was something serious? I did say yes to him, obviously, besides orange juice was his favorite drink and I didn't like it that much so I let him have it.
