Buzz Buzz

I rolled over to the other side of my bed once I heard my phone vibrate.

I lazily rubbed my eyes to clear my vision since I was woken up by the sound. My hands took a hold of the device and Jays name lit up my screen. 'What the fuck?' I thought to myself as my finger swiped the 'answer call' button.

L- Hello?

I mumbled out.

J- Louise?!

L- Jay it's 3 am. What happened?

J- I dont know, do you know where Bruce is?!

I tried to think for a second but couldn't get my thoughts together.

L- Isn't he at home? Yesterday he said he's going to the park to meet everybody but then I dont know where he went. What happened?

J- He didn't come home yesterday and his phone is switched off. My mom is sorta panicking.

L- Oh my fucking god... Did you try calling people that might've been with him?

J- Yeah, you...

I pinched my nose bridge and sighed.

L- Jay... try calling Lee. He's always with him, I'm sure he knows something.

J- Alright... thanks and sorry for waking you up.

L- It's fine don't worry about it. I'm sure he's okay.

J- He better be.

Jay ended the call and I passed out immediately after that. I knew that he was going to be okay. He never got himself into any sort of big trouble, maybe he just drank too much and passed out in someone's house. I had school in the morning so I couldn't keep myself occupied with scenarios where Bruce is.

"This is my life now." I breathed heavily as I climbed the first batch of stairs in one of our school blocks, " I have climbed these stairs. And I'll die upon them!" I finished as I laid down to catch my breath. " Shut up! We still have one more batch to go!" Exclaimed Isai as he tried to pick me up, "I guess it's her tar filled lungs that stop her..." Laughed Mike with Jane.  "Actually no. You don't understand... Lou and I will do anything to skip P.E. Literally!" Added Jane as Isai picked me up and helped me go up the stairs.

"Why?! The fuck is wrong with you?!" Exclaimed Isai, "We just live up to my motto 'why should humans run, if there's nothing chasing them?' We just look like horses and we sweat and everything sticks to you and you smell bad!" I huffed as we reached the second floor. "Exactly." Jane acknowledged me, "Just admit that you guys are lazy!" Added Mike, "No, we just don't want to sweat." Continued Jane. "You guys are fucking insane..." said Isai and we continued walking to our next class, Mike dropped us off and left to meet with Emily.

We sat in our usual seat at the back and continued talking for the rest of the class. "So! How's you and Jay?" Asked Isai, "Nothing new. Same old shit." I answered immediately, I told them about what happened today in the morning and that I'm kind of worried about Bruce. I had to find Jay and ask if everything's okay, I'm sure he's fine and nothing bad happened...

"He got arrested." Said Jay.

Yeah! Why does this always happen to me?

"WHAT?! WHY?! WHEN?! FOR WHAT?!" I panicked. Jay and I stood in a corner of the field in front of the entrance to the auditorium. "Man, basically him, Alex, Greg, Lee and Thomas broke into the shopping center at night and tried to steal some shit. They got caught by the security and arrested. My mom had to pick him up from the police station in the morning and trust me. It wasn't a pleasant sight to watch." The boy added, I pinched my nose bridge and sighed. " I swear to fuck what is he doing? Is he okay though?" I asked with concern in my voice. Jay looked to the side for a second and fixed his faded hair, "Yeah he's okay, just kind of depressed..." he commented, "No shit Jay! Who wouldn't be depressed after getting fucking arrested?!" I exclaimed, "okay okay, calm down Louise." "Shut up" I laughed.

We talked for a little longer about random things and I went back to Mike and Emily.

"What did you guys talk about?" Asked Emily, "I found out that Bruce got arrested but yeah he's okay..." " I can't with this guy, Lee too right? And he's leaving to Japan in 6 days... he said that we probably won't be able to see him anymore..." said my sister, to be completely honest I totally forgot that Lee was moving to Japan forever. I didn't want to think about it, BoOzErZ are gonna die without him... it was really unfortunate since he brought so much light into our group and now he was going to leave. It literally sucked ass but that's not the worst part, the worst part was that 3 days after Lee moving there's going to be seniors prom and Mike is taking me with him; BoOzErZ were supposed to all meet up after that and drink at Andrews place since he was Emily's date... but without Lee being there it's going to be boring as shit.

"You guys worry too much, its all going to be okay and he'll definitely come back. I mean it's Lee..." Mike tried to cheer us up but I still kept on thinking about it...

We just had to wait and see I guess...
