       Levi held her for who knows how long, she stopped her crying. All she did was hug him, her face buried in his shirt as he sat there, silently hugging her back.

"Do you want to go down stairs for breakfast?" He whispered to her as she lifted her tear stained face, her eyes squinted in the darkness as dried up tears were around her eyes. Even in her crying state she still looked like an angel.

"I can't" she mumbled back. Levi was confused but soon understood it must be because of Luna.

"Is it because of your sister?" He asked her as she laid her head on his chest, looking to the side.

"Yes" she mumbled as Levi held her close. Giving her a soft squeeze of reassurance.

"You'll be leaving soon and I don't want to get hurt again" she muttered as Levi nodded in understanding. It's true he had to go home, if he leaves then Luna could do what she wanted. It's best not to add more flames in the fire.

"Okay" he mumbled despite his heart yelling at him. He wanted her to come down stairs, he wanted to spend time with her, but the longer he's here the more suspicious it is.

Drew seemed to notice the time and quickly let go of the hug, scooting away a bit, for him to leave. Levi looked at her as she looked into his mesmerizing green eyes.

"You should go" she uttered quietly as Levi glanced at the opened door, he knew he had too.

"Okay but answer me this" He whispered, "I haven't seen you around school, you seemed to be a grade below me. Why don't I ever see you?" He asked as her gaze fell on her lap, her hands tangled in the covers of her bed.

"I do online school."

"How come?" His question caught her off guard a bit as she raised her eyes to meet his. He's so blunt.

"My mother thought it would be best, plus Tony, my step dad, doesn't really want to pay for my school. We don't get along very well" she whispered the last part as she brought some of her covers to her chest- hugging it.

"Tony is Luna's real dad?" Levi asked as Luna nodded, "Mary is my real mother but she married Tony, my real father left my mother when she was carrying me" Drew explained as Levi sat there, taking all this new information in. There was one thing he didn't understand though. Why does Luna dislike her so much?

"Hey" he mumbled, "why does Luna treat you the way she does?" Before Drew could say anything there were footsteps coming up the stairs. Levi jumped to his feet and ran out the door towards the bathroom as he quickly waved goodbye towards Drew while giving her a reassuring smile.

She smiled to herself as she watched the retreating boy, hearing the bathroom door open and close softly.

The footsteps came closer as it stopped in front of the bathroom door, a knock was heard as Levi jumped in the bathroom.

"Yo buddy, you've been in here for forever, I thought you might have fallen" some laughter was heard on the other end as Levi let out a sight of relief.

It was just Landon.

"I'll be right out" he called back as Landon laughed in response before making his way down stairs.

Levi excited the room and quickly walked into Drew's room, she still sat on her bed as she looked over towards Levi's figure.

He walked towards her without a word as she sat on her bed confused.

All of a sudden he wrapped her arms around her- she flinched out of reflex as he gave her a hug, her mind couldn't comprehend this.

She then realized he was giving her a gentle hug, her eyes started to tear up slightly before wrapping her bruised arms, even though it's dark and you couldn't tell, around his frame giving him a hug back.

"I'll try to come over more or something, it was nice meeting you Drew" the way his voice said her name made her heart skip a beat. She felt heat rise to her cheeks as she couldn't utter a reply. Why did he make her feel like this? It's only been what, a day?

She felt pathetic, how could she be feeling this? What was she feeling anyways? Regardless, it's felt nice. Something she hadn't felt in years.

She hugged back as Levi's shoulders seemed to loosen up a bit, he breathed in her scent as she held him tightly.

"I hope to see you again" she stuttered out as he let go of the hug, gazing down at her angelic face. Even if it was dark, at least the sun raze from the window gave off some sort of light. He smiled down upon her.

"I will try my best to keep in touch" with that said he left and made his way down the stairs into the backyard as Drew sat up in her room, on her bed, in the dark; smiling.

     Levi was greeted with Landon, Peter, and Adrian as those two soon started to become friends with Landon and Levi. They were part of their group now.

"What took you so long?" Peter asked, his blonde hair swaying in the wind. Levi shrugged as the boys laughed, Adrian chuckled softly. He's still as shy as ever.

"Well whatever dude, let's eat some breakfast. Luna's dad set up the tables again and made a small breakfast buffet" Landon beamed as the boys rushed over and waited in line for food.

That day was a memorable day for little Levi, he finally made another friend.
