Masky held Levi's unconscious body as Drew screamed alerting the others.

The woods brothers heads snapped towards Drew who was crying beside Masky and Levi.

"Let go of my son" Liu threatened as he ran towards Masky only to get tackled by Hoodie. Ben and Jeff took action, running towards Masky until Toby got in the way.

Toby tackled Jeff as he threw one of his hatchets towards Ben, hitting his arm. Even though he was a ghost, he could still get hurt. He couldn't die again but, he could go unconscious and he could definitely feel the pain.

Letting out a yelp he fell to the floor holding his arm as his eyes were streaming with blood. He gritted his teeth from crying out as he looked at his fellow comrades.

Drew closed her eyes, counting to ten- trying to stop her shaking before thinking of a way to help her friend. When she opened her eyes Masky was running towards the forest with Levi in his arms. Without thinking, Drew took off after him leaving the others to fight it off.

Drew was always the shy, closed of girl. Never really made long lasting friends, never found the need since she was always moving. Her mother was a whore who slept around with men, her father died. Her father was a great man, the only person in her life that she trusted and loved. Once he died, her world shattered.

She moved here and never quite got along with her step father or step sister. She did online school for the sake of not interacting with others, why would she?

Her entire life was a black and white, no color, no emotions except fear. Fear of her mother, fear of her family, fear of them.

But, then Levi came along.

He was so bright, so cheerful, so easy going. How could she not fall for him? His kind heart mixed with his sweet personality was something to die for.

Die for.

This is the meaning of life.

To live for others, to cherish them, to love them.

To protect them.

Her father did all of these things. She never understood why life was so important, why people claim to hate life yet, the bring more babies into this world.

Why?

It's to be loved.

Simple.

Yet, love was something so complex.

The answer is plan and simple but, to achieve it was a whole other journey.

Levi came into her world without a trace, just like that. A stranger slowly turning into something more. Something she wanted, something she needed.

This was something she could live for, to love for.

This is the key of life.

She be damned to let it slip by.

This was her chance to escape the darkness, to finally see the light again.

Levi was the key in setting her free.

She needed him.

As he needed her.

Her legs picked up the pace as she followed close behind the killer. Her lungs burning as tears fell from her eyes.

Keep going.

A voice in her head commanded as she ran faster. She wanted to puke, she wanted to faint, she wanted to just lay down and give up, but she didn't. She couldn't.

'For levi' she thought as the guy ducked under a branch and kept his pace up, she too, did the same.

She neared him as she jumped, grabbing his foot making him stumble to the ground- releasing Levi. He grunted in pain as he rolled into the dirt floor as Drew closed her eyes as her body hit the bed of the forest.

The air got knocked out of her lungs as she already had lack of air to begin with. She wheezed as tears streamed down from her eyes; coughing a bit. Her vision started to go black as she felt the urge to throw up. She was thin, but she didn't exercise regularly so her body wasn't used to all this movement.

She gasped for air as her ribs stung, her chest rising and falling. She couldn't focus on anything, she hoped she had bought the others enough time.

Will they come rescue Levi?

Will they come rescue her?

She didn't know, all she knew was she did what she wanted to do. She stopped the guy.

Masky grumbled as he staggered to his feet. Drew crawled towards Levi's unconscious body. She gently grasped his hand in her as she gulped in some more air.

Her face and body was drenched in sweat as her ribs and lungs stung.

Masky watched with a slight smirk under his mask.

'Maybe the girl could be useful' he thought to himself as he stalked towards the duo on the ground.
